Will be back in Vegas for the last week in October, I stayed at T.I in May and I enjoyed it and thought it was a very good hotel and casino, I was looking at booking there again but after looking around for not too much more money I could stay at the Monte Carlo. Having not stayed their before, can anyone please tell me their experiences at staying there and how it compares to T.I

    Many Thanks

I like the location of TI a lot more. As for the rooms, TI's are a bit more plush and offer in room wifi (included in resort fee) and an empty refrigerator. Monte Carlo does not yet have wireless internet, but does offer coffee makers and bottled water.

Otherwise they offer similar amenities - coffee shop, spa, pizza place, Starbucks.

If they are the same price I would go for TI. If you sign up for the 'MY TI Guestbook' you can get considerably lower rates.

I also like TIs location more, but MC isn't terrible. As a video poker player, MC might be one of the worst choices for a dollar or less player though. So I would snap take TI even though I've never stayed there but staying at MC because of myVegas. MC is perfectly average for a room, imo.

Also looking forward to playing at TI in a few weeks! I just hope drink service on the floor is better than last time...

TI is the nicer hotel, so you should not pay more to stay at Monte Carlo...

My last 6 stays have been, 4 at TI and 2 at MC. I would say they are pretty much equal. MC does have a food court that may appeal to some. TI has very easy access to Mirage and Venetian/Palazzo, so with little effort you have a lot more dining choices.

TI over Monte Carlo by far for me.
TI Rooms are renovated. Casino vibe was good whenever i visited.
    MC was so and so.
The pro's for the MC: sometimes i find $5 craps at the MC around midnight; food court.
The loud music from the MC pool can be annoying (and i'm into electro house music).
If you join the TI players club you should be able to get the resort fee waived with the offers you get (resort fee optional).

Ti by far. I used to stay in the penthouse suite at TI when I would play there and they are very nice suites. They are just as nice as some of the high end proprty suites if not better. Very comforatble.

I tyhink the TI casino and conceot has gone to crap but the rooms are very nice and the proprty is in a gret spot for gambling, especially on sports due to the proximity of getting to the oher books quickly Wynn, VP, mirage

I stayed a TI in March and Monte Carlo last Decemeber. I would say TI wins this one.
Room looks recently renovated and the location near Palazzo and Venetian was great. The dining options at both suck and the casinos look old.
