I am looking for opinons on the petite suite at treasure island

have friends who will be in town at the same time as me and they are staying at treasure island

I have stayed at most casino in vegas (have been going for vegas for over 20 years) but never stayed at treasure island

I already have 3 free night at aria, (myvegas rewards), so thought about staying 3 nights at treasure island since they are staying there, but was looking at the petite suite, I love have a whirlpool tub in my hotel room so will pay the extra if it is worth it

wondering if anyone has stayed in that room type

    tia

They're not bad rooms: large foyer with 2 full bathrooms on either side (one with the tub and one with a walk-in shower; both with closets); sofa-bed and bed, and a small high-top cocktail table. Not a true suite, obviously.

    thanks for the info
if I book through casino marketing I can get the same rate but I have the option of opting out of the resort fee, the only reason I would want it is for the free wifi is to just check my email a couple a times during the day

I know there use to be a starbucks in treasure island, does anyone know if they offer free wifi

We stayed in a Petite Suite in Feb 2013 - we were at a conference at Sands across the street and I require a fridge in my room for business trips - Petite Suite was a nice size for me & my husband, loved having 2 bathrooms for this trip since we were both getting ready at the same time (not normally an issue for us on vacations) We didn't gamble much in the casino but the location was great for what we wanted that trip....

I have stayed in a Petite Suite a couple of times. They are near the central core of the building, so never a far walk from the elevators. Unless something has changed, they only have one window for all that room, so to me, appeared kind of dark.

There are some Petite Suites that have two doubles, most are a single king and a sofa bed. The whirlpool tub is great, deep enough for soaking and comes with a "head pad" with little suction cups on the back so it will stick to the side of the tub, you don't have to use a rolled up towel as a pillow.

The suites (and I think all the rooms at TI) come with a mini fridge, for leftovers, soda, beer, whatever. Haven't used wifi there, just checked email on my phone, as mentioned, there is a Starbucks at the corner, I'm sure they have free wifi, I also believe the Mirage has free wifi in their lobby/public areas.

    Hope this helps!

Stayed in one last October. Definately more space than a regular room, and the 2 separate bathrooms can be pretty convenient.

Wish the furniture (sofa) was a bit bigger actually, they could fit a small sectional in there and still have plenty of space, while providing a more comfortable area to lounge and relax, but overall it was a nice room.

My husband and I stayed in one last year. The two bathrooms was nifty - the lighting in them was not the greatest but hey - can't beat the whirpool tub in one and the shower in the other.... We thought the room was great -- good sized with room to move around!!

Stayed in one last October. Similar to other's experience, not a true suite, just a large room with a lot of extra floor space. The whirlpool is nice though.
