    My Trip Report

    FRIDAY 12/19
Arrived at airport 1 hour early before my Vegas bound flight, just to find out it's going to be 30 minutes delay.so i grab a slice of pepperoni pizza
and a small coke to fill up my stomach.costs almost $8 and tasted like craps.try to connect the airport free WiFi and it's such, couldn't get connected.
the only other better signal connection is T-Mobile and you have to pay for that,so the heck with that... i'll listen to the music... well screw me... i
didn't bring along the ear plugs.so i turned off the laptop and.... peoples watching :) spotted a nice young Asian lady sitting in front of my sight so
the "time killing" wasn't so bad.
after 40 minutes delay,my plane arrived.boarding was a little slow but ok.flight was very short about 40 minutes later i can see the city lights.

    .
arrived in the terminal, there're many peoples around...i guess because is friday evening the beginning of the weekend.
    .
    .
waited like 20 minutes and switch carousel to get my luggage.
    .

    .
hop on the shuttle bus out to pick up my rental car.got a standard size car from Budget for $13/day. the best part is i booked it via SouthWest using
SW CC and i got quadruple point. just what i needed to have my next FREE round trip flight anywhere SW flies.traffic was not bad, pull into TI parking
garage in no time.only 3 others parties were at the lobby to check in and i'm the only one at "invited guess only" line.i asked my host to get me a suite
and she says nothing is guaranty,i have to see if any available at the time i check in....which i asked...the answer was "none of the suite are available
at this time" i'm like WTF??? it not like we are having full house here.plus the fact that i did check on TI's website before and after i checked in,they
do have tower suites available.so....ok that's fine.i'm not going to die without a suite...but let me tell you this...this is most likely the last time i stay at TI.
This is the view from my room...the room itself is nothing to brag about except the nice comfortable bed.
    .
    .
after settle in i took the tram to Mirage to meet with my friends who flew in from north Carolina and staying there.had couple of beer and lots of talking.
around 11pm we parted and i head back to Ti.by this time the little slice of pizza is gone so i ordered the cheese burger from Canter's...eh...i rather
have the cheese burger from in-and-out.now is gambling time.put a $100 bill in a machine and it gone, another bill in another machine and it gone that's
very much the same story all night.then after i hit this one
    .
    .
cashed out for $800 and head to the high limit slot, sit down at this machine
    .
    .
no no,that wasn't mine...after blew $500 on that machine i moved to the other machine to play and a man walked over, sit down and with in few minutes
that's what he hits a cool 10k.don't you hate it when that happens?but hey,i didn't play $200 a pull like he did.look at my watch and it's 3am,walking up
to my room thinking there's 2 full days ahead.

    SATURDAY 12/20

Woke up pretty late, took a quick shower then at 11am drove down to this restaurant on Spring Mountain
    .
    .
almost always every time i'm in Vegas i come here.and this is what i ordered
    .
    .
house special beef noodle soup and an iced coffee.it came in a large bowl,if you're not that hungry most likely you won't finish it.and the coffee? think
of it as a quad-ripple shot of espresso in starbuck. if you're not caffeine friendly...it might keep you awake for 24 hours.
after the meal i drop by the supermarket right there to pick up some personal items then headed to Amethyst Massage locates at 5300 Sahara to have
a Swedish massage.on the price list it's $49 an hour but after the session she told me the $39 special is going on until march. $39 for an hour of
heavenly massage? can't beat that.so i tipped her $20 then head back to TI.win some, loose some for couples hours then i saw this machine that i want
to try.put in $10 a few pull later the bonus came out...end up winning 21130 credits on that bonus round.that's 2 cent per so it's $422.60...ha,that's not bad.
    .
    .
cash it out and put another $20 bill in...few minutes later the bonus round came and won $370.50 (i changed to play 5 cents this time)
    .
    .
i now start to like this kind of machine,i know it's nickel machine but don't let it fool you,i'd bet 50 lines at 2 credits per for total bet of 100...on nickel that's
$5 per pull.i walked around to find another machine like that but no luck.by the way it called "Frog Princess" so i walked over to the Mirage.over there i
found total of 4 machines like that, and you know what? i hit on 3 of them...one right after the other.each one with $100 bill in and cash out on the bonus round.
    .
    $903.50
    .[IMG]
    .
    $868.00
    .
    .
    $990.50
    .
    .
i play a little in mirage high limit slot but with no luck so i walked out to the strip.got a peek at the new volcano .

walked as far as the Flamingo and decided to make a u turn, too damn cold is the excuse
won few hundreds at flamingo, lost them back at Harrah's,lost my a$$ off at Venetian and Palazzo... i guess before they file for chapter 11 they need to get
back as much money as they can? back to the room at TI at 3:30am

    SUNDAY 12/21

Attend the 9:30am mass at Guardian Angel Cathedral right next to ENCORE.look like they're out full force trying to finishing touch before the next day opening
    .
    .
after the mass went to "Pho Little Saigon" another Vietnamese restaurant on Spring Mountain just to have the same stuffs as yesterday.only to find out the
food and drink here actually better than "Pho So 1" then i headed to Wynn to do some gamble for about 3 hours came out $1100 ahead.swing by the mall
to do some Christmas shopping.because i'm flying in i did want to buy big items...just small little ones that would fits into the carry on.
back to the room to put away stuffs, checking emails...took the tram to Mirage again to try on those hot machines i played yesterday....well,they're not that
hot anymore, bill after bill after bill...off i go for $5 machine area...did pretty well there, made up for the loss plus some.it's in the afternoon now so i got back
to TI to check on my play there since this trip is for the TV giveaway.you have to reach so many points to get the TV.I was not quite there yet so gamble
away i did, doing ok for a while then the losing streak started so i got my a$$ up and into TI's buffet...$28 for dinner... if i remember right that's about same
price .with some high end Buffets such as Wynn and Bellagio? anyway, food selections wasn't that great but because i was sooooo hungry, everything
going in my mouth was excellent.you know when you're gamble you almost didn't feel anything but right after that you feel like you going to die hungry or
got to go to that bathroom feeling.didn't care much for crab legs but the BBQ spare ribs was top of the list.
my stomach was too full that not even funny.by now it's getting late and i'm thinking this is the last chance for me to gamble because i'll leave very early
tomorrow morning.i wish i did not do that but heading straight to the room.... did not win anything NOTHING,i was sure living up to my name.then at 11:00pm
i pull the plug..went up to the room recount my bankroll to find out i was down 3k. oh well, you win some you lose some...got my stuff together, took a shower
    and go to bed.

    MONDAY 12/22

got up at 5am proceed to check out via TV it was not available so i have to haul my bags down to front desk to check out.drove the car back to airport return
.jump on the shuttle to airport, used 1 of the machine to there to print out my boarding pass.to my surprise i was #28 on group A,i was expect to be somewhere
in C group.the security line were extremely light,i just walked straight to scanner without any waiting in line.got to the gate 1 hour early so i sit down finishing
this report.seem like nobody around, maybe too early in monday morning? plane was on time, once boarding the flight attendant told me there only 33 persons
    on this flight...eek.it was a smooth sailing home.yes this trip i lost 3k but that's included 3 nights stay,rental car,all meals,massage,shopping,parking fee,free
upcoming flights,a HD TV shipping to my house and tons of good times.you can't expect to win every times..... are you?

    pulling out from the gate
    .
    .
    up and away
    .
    .
    snow in CALI too

from the strip go west on Sahara pass I15 and once you see Decatur blvd slow down.stay on right lane and make a right on a small street named Potosi St,
the building is right on the left hand side.

I like your attitude...not big deal dropping 3k. It would have been nice if that had been you that hit that big payoff in the high limit slots.

Loser--was with 3 couples at TI those same dates 12/19 to 12/22.

Thought the beds were great. We had a 'strip view' room but it was looking north. Had that same view you had last time at TI and loved it.

We're not slot players, but thought the dealers were very, very hit and miss in the friendly department at TI. Some were pricks and bitches, some were cool--couldn't tell any ryhme nor reason for it other than they're people too. For every nice one, one was a jerk.

Same way with drink service ESPECIALLY at the Breeze bar. Early morning for coffee a different guy would serve you a bad, 12oz cup for $2 and look like the $1 tip left was insulting to him--like you're supposed to give him a bj in the middle of Vegas Blvd for doing you the honor of pouring your coffee.

We love TI's location. Table limits were great, some times more crowded, sometimes less. But I agree, this is likely my last stay for a while unless some unbelievable offers come my way.

    Enjoyed your TR. Thanks.

as far as employees friendliness there... may be the Casino just being sold has something to do with it? i mean they're in the panic mode perhaps?
i stay there twice,in 2 different rooms and in both i noticed the sink / bathtub drain really slow...same in your room?

TI employees should be relieved that Phil R. bought them out.....he has allot of cash and very little debt...they will be just fine...maybe it will become more friendly?

If it drained slow, I didn't notice it this time or last time I stayed there.

Really enjoyed your report. Always nice to see pics and wins! 3K down? I would have hoped you'd be closer to even. Next time right? Thanks for posting. :) Side note: $200 a spin! That must have been a trip to watch. LOL.
