I believe seagulls are trained to poo right in the center of my field of vision on my windshield. They were taught to do this by Philly pigeons.

Dammit! You are on to my evil plan for world domination. Think Wicked Witch of the West, but with seagulls instead of monkeys. Fly, my pets! Fly!!!! :wink2:

They are smart birds..on the Jersey Shore after a storm they pick up uncovered clams and drop them on the street to open them up..Don't think they aim them at cars but who knows..

Near my house there is a section of road that goes around the head of the harbor. The gulls will drop clams and oysters in front of your car and dive in to get them after you drive over them.

Funny Sonya... There is an outdoor area at Harrah's AC outside the poker room where people smoke and take in the bay and view of the bridge to Brigantine.
It's a boardwalk but not THE Boardwalk in AC...I make it a point to go out there and just watch them especially when you need a break from the casino or some cold air at 2am to refresh after too many beers...Probably my favorite place in AC.I have no place like that in LV..Though same as going to Red Rock but only takes a few minutes.

Buddy and I refer to it as 'Bird Therapy' when asked where you're heading or been as a joke.Means a break is needed from the floor..

You're right Breeze - it's a conspiracy. You can run from Philly, but you can't hide, lol.
(this coming from someone who was born and raised about 90 miles north of Philly)

Here's the thing. Los Excursionistas come down to the sand-n-surf and can't seem to resist feeding the cute seagulls. These rats-with-wings will hover and catch - in the air - what the darling, cute, lovable little chu'rens feed them. The signs say "Do not feed seagulls". There's a reason why that sign is there and why it's not so cute when your loving little cherubs (and in some instances mom and dad) insist of lobbing cheetos and sandwich remnants into the air. The gulls associate people with feeding, and as such, will swoop and dive at YOUR sandwich. They can't divine the difference between your food and theirs on the beach.

Why is it that 'don't feed the seagulls' is apparently such a complex concept to grasp? At least by the out-of-state-plate crowd.

    I was parking at Walmart.
I hear this BIG BANG on the roof of my car....scared the crap outta me !
I get out to look + there's gulls fighting over a huge, old, hard chunk of Italian bread.
The bread dropped on my roof.
As I park --- I look over and there's two @-holes dumping a bag of bread for the gulls.
I wanted to complain to a manager......"my roof might have been dented" --
but then I came to my senses !
Have you ever had to deal with anyone at Walmart ?.......it ain't worth your time or effort.

"Have you ever had to deal with anyone at Walmart ?"

In the words of our esteemed former president, William Jefferson Clinton, "I feel your pain".
