I am trying to arrange hotel rooms for a group of people 4-5 rooms all for couples. I have reached out to a host that heed us out on a previous stay, but am wondering if there is a better way to arrange the rooms for the group. Better meaning cheaper, wife and I are the only ones with TR numbers will that hurt us as members of the group. I can get our rooms comped 3 of 4 days.

My host has always made arrangements for friends coming in with me. I was the only TR player with any history. On several occasions, my host had booked 3-5 rooms. Sometimes comped and sometimes at a very low rate.

Different idea. We needed 8 rooms for Harrahs 7/11/2013 to 7/16/2013 and I am not any sort of roller.

Wife and her friends all signed up for the TR players card and they all got comped rooms with the exception of Fri/Sat for a reduced rate as a welcome to TR thing. Cheaper than my offers. I then called in with all of the confirmation numbers 3 days in advance and got all of the rooms connected w/o a problem.

Might be an option for your friends?

If you are big enough to use a host yourself I would imagine they are the best contact.

If you can't interest a host, you should have some sort of offer code in your TR with a discount code you can give to friends and family. Last time I looked there was one in mine.

I just booked 4 rooms for our group, I did one in my name, one in my hubbys name, then one guy has a TR # so we used his. that gave us all comp/comp/87 for wed-thur-fri we also added an offer for $10 FP @ Flamingo. The other one i booked the pool f&b credit and it was cheaper than my Friends & Family discount offer. They can all try and get comps on the back end too.

Another option to look into for the future that I did on my December stay when going with a group was the Apex Suite at PH. There are 2 bedrooms attached on each side, and then we just booked individual rooms on the same floor of the suite for the rest of our group.
