    My Trip Report

Arrived Friday night about 5 p.m. Got an upgrade at 4Q to a jauzzi suite, which was nice. Hit the Chicago Brew Co for some beers, VP, and a snack.

Playing at one of the downstairs bars later that night, playing Joker Poker, hit a Royal with the joker for 500 quarters. A quad later, and I cashed a ticket for $230.

Moved over to the D upstairs, and did some good work there two, cashing in for about $150.

Then Saturday came, and it was pretty slow all day. Worked up and down Fremont and couldn't get anything going. Walked down to Neonopolis in the evening, and into the toy store. Saw Johnny the toy guy from "Pawn Stars." He seemed very friendly.

Sunday we hit MSS. Drank microbrews for a long time at the Boar's Head, but could not get on a roll. Moved over to the Cal, and boy oh boy! Got on a major roll with several 4oaks, twice each on 4s and 3s. Cashed out a $520 ticket.

Took the wife to Pasta Pirate for steak and lobster. Headed back to 4Q, then went over to the D upstairs. Cashed a $200 ticket there and hated to leave, but had to catch the bird at 7 a.m. Monday.

    Great trip!

    Nice report.

Drinking beers and winning money…It doesn’t get any better than that! Congrats on the nice VP hits – hope I have similar luck next month.

always nice to see a winning report,

I stayed at the 4Q but never at the D, what is your opinion of the difference? do you think the D is much better?

    4Q vs. D

I haven't stayed at the D for about ten years, back in the Fitz days. Thought it was fine then--nothing fancy, but I'm not a fancy guy.

Have been at 4Q for four or five trips straight. The service is great, I like the food, and the drink service is top notch. Up until this trip, I won the most here.

Really like the vibe in the D, especially upstairs. And now they have an escalator up to the Vue bar on the second floor. You don't even have to go through the first floor if you don't wanna.

I think you'd be good either place, and they're so close, you can easily hop back and forth.

I like the vibe in the D casino more than the vibe in the 4Q casino. When I was there with my (ex) girlfriend back in december she kept saying she wished we had booked the D instead because it was better. but I was happy with the 4Q.

but I gota admit I like the environment in the D casino more than I like the 4Q casino. Also Binions is alright, not great. Golden nugget is nice too
