    Just realized I made TR diamond status on my last visit, and looking to book a room for my next trip coming up end of Sept. Just checked the TR website and I have all green "comp" except for Nobu and the odd weekend night at Cromwell (where I stayed last). I checked out Caesars and there are several room types all come up as comp, but it does not mention which tower, only classic,deluxe, and premium. Anyone any ideas which tower I would get?

    The Cromwell was OK, but found the rooms a bit spooky/dark, and you can still see the shades of Bills/BC in the room layout, so looking fr somewhere else

    Also thoughts on if Caesars is actually the best choice? i.e. would I get a better room (quality/size wise) @ PH?

    Based on the room descriptions, square footage listed, and pictures, as far as I can tell:

    Classic = Forum Tower
    Deluxe = Palace Tower
    Premium = Augustus and Octavius Towers

    I like the Caesars Agustus and Octaviius rooms. The Palace rooms are fine. The comp value of most Caesars rooms are much higher than other properties. If you are looking for back end comps, it may be a consideration.
    Status isn't indicative of comps offered. Comps are based on play.

    I would also go with Caesars. If you were paying cash those would likely be the most expensive, if you want to look at it that way.

    Where are you the most comfortable when you are playing & moving around at the casino? Host tells me he can get me Caesars - even when website doesn't show it - but I am the least comfortable there of any of the properties. It's like MGM & MB - I feel like I am in a huge cave. Even with ability for the higher level, I still choose Paris Red (and regular if not available) or Ballys Jubilee. I'm even happy with a Go room. Because I am happier playing at those properties.

    Thanks for all the replies and advice. I actually like Caesars casino and choice of food options, this trip will be with my GF so room choice is more important than a solo trip, I will be splitting the trip up between Caesars and V/P as I,m RFB there, so you will have an idea of my usual play which is 50/50 $1-5 VP and slots with some live poker thrown in the mix.

    after seeing pics of the LinQ I would consider that property TBH. Rooms look great and you may be able to get like a cabana room comped which looks really cool. I am certainly going to give them serious consideration for my next trip.

    Well i would definately recommend Caesars....im a diamond already for some years and i only stayed once at caesars and i loved it there.....still go to caesars to gamble some time and ofcourse go to the diamond lounge.....( caesars diamond lounge is the best)
    3 years ago i stayed at augustus tower i think....at that time i wanted to have a suite but as i always stay approx2,5 weeks a suite wasnt possible even witha diamond card( or was way too costly) anyway my former host at that time arranged a nice corner room( with doorbel and all) and it was spacious and looked like a suite( also shower and yacuzzi and lil tv in bathroom) great view of fountains as well.....

    So if you are a new diamond make sure you take advantage of the goodies u have( some free nites, diamonlounge,100$ diningcredit etc)

    Just checked it out, but appears rooms are pretty small, my GF is used to V/P suite size rooms, interesting idea if the rooms were suites/twice the size.

    I would definitely choose Caesars. The Augustus and Octavius rooms are gorgeous. If you will be using the pool a lot, go with Octavius. If not, the Augustus are closer to the lobby and strip and if you can get an even numbered room you should get a view of the fountains.

    I would also choose Caesars premium, love the Augustus and Octavius rooms. Augustus is my favourite as that tower is closer to the strip.

    The Augustus & Octavius rooms are fairly big in size and are really nice. If you're staying on a comp. Suites can only be arrange by a host and must be voted on by the suite committee. The committee determines who gets what, depending on how much they value your play and how many whales are staying on the property.

    I would definitely go with Augustus. I have always enjoyed my stay there, especially when I have had the pleasure of a room with a view of the fountains.
