What is the difference between the tier score and rewards credit score?
Tier Score is how many points you have accumulated towards the different tiers in the program, IE: going from GOLD to PLATINUM to DIAMOND
Rewards Credits are the points you have that you can spend at stores that accept Total Rewards Rewards Credits or to pay for your hotel bill and other hotel services. Reward Credits are worth 1 penny each, so if you have 2500 Rewards Credits (RCs) then thats $25 you can spend.
Each time you earn 1 Tier Credit (TC) you earn 1 RC. However through play you can earn additional/bonus RCs. You earn 1 TC for each $5 played through slots, each $10 played through video poker and its usually 1 for each $20 played through table games.
Tier Score is a running total of points earned during a calendar year. This score is used to determine levels: gold, platinum, diamond, 7 stars
Rewards credit score is the the amount of point you have that can be redeemed in restaurants, stores, towards your bill, etc. Each point is worth 1 cent. (If you have 5532 Rewards points you have 55.32 to spend)
Thanks very much for the info! Now I know what all those numbers mean!
