Sister had a very good Cobb Salad.
    Bed time. No gambling.

    Day 4
Breakfast at MC buffet. Free with coupons that came with rooms. Good but not great. Smoked salmon, mini bagels, cream
cheese, Chorizo and eggs, a fat sausage link very much like Virginia
has, and all the normal stuff.
Lazy River is cold. Adult pool is colder. GOOD, I was worried it would
be dusty from the construction. But it was great.
Lunch in the MC food court.
Casino time: tried two new table games: Crazy 4 Poker and Texas
Hold ‘em. Both OK. Preferred Crazy 4 Poker. Simple game.
    Fun game.
    Big money swings. See
$5 Blackjack. Dealer almost never has blackjack. Holding my
own or up a little, money wise.
Dinner at Stage Deli at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
    Very Good food and service
Desert to go, for 2 nights, from Cheesecake Factory at the
    Forum Shops

The women take off for the spa/salon.
Massages 80 minutes, body wraps very plush.
They had lunch at MC food court.
    Wife has manicure & pedicure.
Sister won $40 on video poker 25 cent machines.
I have more casino time while they spa/salon. Same as above. Dealers still have almost no blackjacks.
I catch the DUCE to Mandalay Place.
Lunch at the Burger Bar. Good but expensive.
Time for a Royal Shave at
Dinner at MC’s Blackstone's Steakhouse. Very good.
We shared a shrimp cocktail. (one shrimp for each of us) Very good.
We each had an entree etc. The Blue Cheese sauce with my steak
    was great.
We shared a very rich chocolate dessert.
    No booze.
Nice tip, tax, & food = $190 for the three of us.

Casino time. Blackjack was $10. Dealer had blackjack almost every time.
No longer up or holding my own. Down a little.

    Day 6
    Breakfast at MC café.
Pack up and get out of town sooner than planned.
Cancel reservations for Gallup hotel and make new for ALBUQUERQUE.
    Lunch at burger king.
Dinner at a Mexican restaurant close to the hotel. Very good but loud with live mariachi band.

    Trips to Las Vegas:
Thanks for the trip report Jack-retired, I hear you about the long driving days, we drive down from BC and are retired as well. I know most people fly to vegas as they have time constaints. Being retired a person can drive and enjoy the views, but putting in 10 hr days in a car can get to be a bit much. I need to cut the driving back to the 8hr area so we don't get so wiped, the wife does share the driving so I can get in a rest during the day. It is nice to have the car and to see other sights while we are down south.

We just love Sedonda, it is just the nicest area. Check out the Slide Rock State Park next time you are there.

    Trips to Las Vegas:
So true! We used to live in Vancouver and took a couple of road trips to the southwest from there. We tried to limit the driving to 6 hours/day. Hell, the drive from Las Vegas to Reno is in itself a loooooong day...and when you get there you're not even out of Nevada!! ...endless desert... To break up the monotony we stopped in Fallon for awhile to watch the Top Gun pilots-in-training practice their touch and go manoeuvres...cool.

    Trips to Las Vegas:
Having made the drive to Vegas from southeast Louisiana at least three times, I know about the long driveing days. Haveing said that, the views along the way are marvelous in some places, and downright boreing in others ( I can only take so much nasty ( see chewed up ) cactus and rocky desert ). I guess the route makes a difference too.

    Trips to Las Vegas:
Sirius Radio helps. Good Company helps. Was disappointed in the AAA on-line trip tick. Should have used my normal freetrip. Was glad I had book of hotels with me. Was disappointed that New Mexico had no "welcome" centers.

No comments on dealer blackjacks, I am amazed.
