I'm a Platinum Total Rewards member but my card expiration date is at the end of this month. Does anyone know if they'll mail me a new card or do I need to pick up a replacement at the Total Rewards desk when it expires? Thanks.

You have to get a new card at the desk.My card expires April 1 and I'm certain it'll be back to Gold for me..(Unless something crazy happens this upcoming trip,I have 0 tier points right now)..

I don't see an expiration on the card, so why bother getting a new card and missing out on the line-cuts?

They will mail you a new one., especially of Vegas is considered your home. If you are Platinum or above, their will be an expiration date and you have to present a current one to take advantage of line cuts.

You have actually had them mail you one before?

My experience is you need to go to the desk to get a new one. There is no issue using an expired card though at tables/slots. The only value is in using it for line skips/other perks.

I got the TR credit card in November 2013. The platinum TR card they gave me in December says March 2014 expiration date on it. Does the TR credit card give one a full year of Platinum so that they will issue me a new Platinum card when I go to a TR desk, or did the credit card only give me that status for 4 months because I took it out toward the end of their TR year? I usually don't gamble at CET properties so I'm pretty clueless how their system works.

I can't be 100% certain, but worst case situation I assume a manager could force it into the system if asked.

You should be able to get a new one anytime now. I'm not sure if you could have gotten the new date in Jan/Feb. The cards never go past March of the next year. Not really sure why, just something CET does. So you need to get a new card each year with the new date if you are anything beyond Gold.

I would expect your new card to have the Nov 2014 Exp date on it.

Also, you can always log into www.totalrewards.com and your current tier status will be shown there.

It's supposed to be for one year. Wife noticed the same thing on our last trip and asked at the TR desk. The woman there said "all higher status cards (higher than Gold I suppose) have a March expiration on them. After March, come by the desk, someone will verify you still have the status and print a new card with a new expiration date."

No big deal at all. Just stop by the desk and they will you a new one.

Yep. They have mailed me one for the past few years. Maybe I am wrong and they don't do it for people with Vegas as their home. Joliet is my local and they have mailed me a card with my renewal perks ever since they stopped doing a formal Platinum card pickup.

I am still a bit confused. I earned Platinum status this month. The expiration date on my card also says " EXP 3/2014 ". The Total Rewards website also says that I'm Platinum until 3/31/2014. My understanding is that my status should be good until at least through March 2015. So I guess my question is how long is my new status really good for ?

I just got a letter from CET today saying that since I had a Total Rewards credit card my Platinum status would be good thru March 2015. I have had the credit card since they changed over from BOA. I had earned the Platinum status anyway since we go to Vegas a couple of times a year, but I was surprised to get the letter. Maybe as long as you are using the credit card they will keep you as Platinum. The only "perk" mentioned was 1000 reward credits that would be added to my account when I used my Platinum card in a machine during the month of April. My husband is Diamond and last year both of our cards were mailed to us, along with some coupons.

Hey lithium78, I see you are from NJ. April 5th & 6th is Platinum weekend in AC. They give out coupon books to everyone that earned Platinum in 2013, if your main casino was in AC.
