Thanks again Westie - We finally tried the shrimp cocktail at Skyline - just as good as I remembered from the GG in the old days, and the lady bartender was really nice, the video poker at the bar included 9-6 job and 8-5 bonus, and there was even a lounge singer (can't really say much for the singing). Glad we stopped and will be back again.

    Thanks, Westie.
I find the hotel quotes hard to figure because there is no mention of resort fees.
I used to assume that the fees were not considered (they were not at one point)
Then the D showed up and it turned out the resort fee was included in the quote.
When they average a value of under $11 for a strip room, have they put the resort fee in the equation?

I know when they quote the under $10 for MacKing that they don't count a $5 extra fee. I called Harrah's and finally, after a long, confusing converstation, they admitted that no one actually got a ticket and drink for under $15. Not that this is still not a great value, but why quote a price that is wrong?
Most interesting to me was the Downtown Grand comedy for free and the note that a drink was not mandatory.
Sin City gives out free vouchers all the time, but when you get there, the drink is mandatory and they have the worst drinks. I'll miss the free tickets to Riviera comedy, so the Downtown Grand comes as a great freebie.

I'm looking forward to visiting Skyline on a day when the Dummkoff's play. http://old.hendersonlive.com/calendar/10-27-2013/the-dummkoffs-at%3Cbr%3Eskyline-restaurant---casino
