I'd wait til next year because by then there will be a lot of new sights to see including The Linq being finished (and their big observation wheel), new Bill's (Gansevoort) should be done by then, and The Quad should be completely done as far as the gaming floor and exterior goes.

If that's the case, then yeah, go again in August for sure.

I'd go back in August then, because things change once you have children (or so I have heard!).

Are you playing MyVegas? You can get some good rewards which will help reduce the cost (free rooms, reduced rooms, food, drinks, shows), and this forum is full of info on deals.

You might go for less than 9 days, and try Downtown instead of the Strip. My friend and I go to a hotel on the Strip but would like to investigate Downtown as so many folks say it is a better value and your bankroll lasts longer.

Life is short; you can always make more money but you gotta make great memories!

I would go next year even if there are children involved. It makes things more complicated but things can be worked out.

Can either of your parents be convinced to take the children for one week for a break?

I have never had children, so I do not know how much work is required to take care of an infant and if it is asking too much.

Maybe divide 3 and 4 days between the set of parents.

I would go in August and then again next year. Really, it can be an inexpensive vacation.

At the end of each trip we are ready to leave, but always looking forward to our next trip. It does take a few months to recoup mentally and financially before our desires are maxed and we can't wait to get back.

Everyone is different. You need to figure out if that time is enough for you.

If I could "only" "just about afford it," I would definitely not go. That's just me, though.

Go in August and maybe conceive there. Then you could back to the place of conception every year.......

Go in August. You will be miserable when August gets here if you don't. You can always cut back the length of your stay and maybe that would help toward your next trip.

    Go in August.

Do not expect you will be able to go anywhere once she is pregnant. No drinking to start with.

Then, when the baby comes, you need to realize many woman (and some men) will not leave their baby alone for at least a year. Just letting you know.
