So, after 40-plus trips staying on the strip, I'll be staying downtown this spring. Apparently this has me feeling all adventurous because now I'm contemplating doing two of the nights off strip (in addition to the two nights downtown).

I wonder if this might be a bit much, though. Is this too much "new" for a single (four night) trip? Would I be better served just exploring downtown? Or should I turn this into a "checking out all kinds of new s**t" kinda trip?

    Thoughts...suggestions...whaddaya think?

(I haven't decided where I would stay. But Downtown Grand and The Creamy Nougat are the frontrunners for the downtown leg of the trip. Off strip...not sure...Red Rock, GVR, M, Palms, Hard Rock...don't know yet...open to suggestions.)

What are you in to? The M, GVR, or Red Rock are much more relaxed environments.

High limit player? Slots? Looking for dancing dealers?

Lots of things to do and see Downtown: Mob Museum, Container Park, the Microbrewery and all of the bars and eateries in the area....in addition to exploring the casinos. The Palms has nice rooms and an upscale casino. It is also a short walk to the Gold Coast and the Rio from there. The Gold Coast has a shuttle to take you either to the Orleans or to the Strip (Bally's). The Rio also has shuttles to Bally's and Harrah's. If you like good wine; check out the Wine Cellar at the Rio.
