I haven't heard too much talk about TI's new players club. I honestly like that place and we stayed there several times when it was owned by MGM. We got new cards last visit in Feb and racked up a few points...no rate offers recently tho. My players number is the same as it was when they were MGM owned.

Have any of you had any luck getting offers from them? What kind of play do you think you need to get something good?

Does anyone notice a difference between now and when it was MGM? Better or worse? Why did they go solo anyways?

They went solo because MGM sold them off while in a CityCenter cash crunch. Can't answer your other questions unfortunately.

I haven't received any offers either. I'm going in October and have booked elsewhere because of it. They were gung-ho to get you signed up, and then dead quiet afterwards.

That's so strange. Maybe they are anticipating closing their doors soon? That would suck. Another Vegas iconic casino gone... hope not.

TI doesn't get much love on this board either these days. I'm surprised, I've only been there a couple times in the past 4 years, but like what Phil Ruffin is doin' with the place since he bought it from MGM. I GUARANTEE you the TI isn't closing it's doors... Phil paid $750 million CASH for the place (rooms refurbished right before the purchase). Of any joint in town, TI's capital structure is strong!

Yeah, when the offers get worse and the rooms rates stay high ... that's usually not a sign of financial struggles.

The TI casino was jam-packed with folks on a Wednesday night during my last trip. Didn't look like they were hurting for anything at all...

I have found their comp policy good. Have had 3 nights per quarter ever since the switch from MGM. Freeplay and some food and bev as well. I usually score between 10 and 15 thousand points per stay and have had a host sometimes who has taken all food off the bill. Friends of mine who have gambled much less still get decent offers for at least a few free nights. And also all their slot machines accrue points at the same pace...no specialty machine fines.

x10. Phil Ruffin made out like a bandit on the MGM deal.

Have you logged into their website to check if you have any offers? I find they don't do much marketing of your offers, but will find them on their players club website.

I have found them to be quite generous. I played a little $0.50 and $1 VP (full pay JOB) while passing through once or twice and got an offer for 3 free nights anytime, $150 freeplay and $75 F&B. Took up the offer and just gave them a few hours play at $0.50 VP over the trip.

They identified that I will not give them a huge amount of play but still offered 2 weekday nights and a very small amount of freeplay. Took them up on it once and still get similar offers each quarter.

TI's been sending me the same offer for a couple of years now. I haven't returned there since I don't enjoy the casino, but I might sometime since they still love me. Last time I was there, I found TI to be pretty generous with comps. Unfortunately, now that they aren't part of MGM, their restaurant choices are too limited and lacking in quality to entice me to stay there.

My husband played there this past Thursday, said the casino was pretty dead and it seemed "dumpy" compared to previous years. Hopefully they have plans to really jazz it up. I woudl definitely stay there again if they give some decent offers.
