Not really, lol! Just a bit tired of going to buffets to eat King crab or Snow crab.

Was wondering if there are any good places to eat fresh Dungeness or Stone crab. Don't care to eat lobster on my upcoming trip either.

Recommendations, anyone? I want fresh crab and will consider all price ranges....

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab. It's just like you were at the one on Miami Beach.

Is stone crab better than snow or king crab?

we have planned to try it at joe`s stone crab a few times but never made it yet.

I`ll bet it would be good at the flame steakhouse.

i think stone crab is overrated. small pieces, very hard to eat and i don't think it tastes better than king crab. in fact i don't even really think it tastes as good.

    good info everyone,thanks.

we won`t go out of our way for the stone crab then as we really enjoy king or even snow crab.

we went to a weekend champagne brunch buffet at silverton last summer and they had cold and steamed snow crab and I think the flavored ones were cajun.

    delicious.

I've never tried stone crab before, and would like to eat some. I do like dungeness, however, and always seek out fresh dungeness.

A while back at the Rio Seafood Buffet I found some dungeness crab legs but they were cold and on ice. Still tasted pretty good.

This time I'm looking for a place that serve fresh dungeness. Something different than the usual king or snow crab.
