Gold Coast is providing a limo for our party of 8 from the airport......does anyone have an idea of a reasonable tip? I was thinking $50

Hard to say. You are paying for the Limo (via play). The casino will pay the driver.

But, we still tip in the $10-$20 range anyways. Higher amounts may apply if you ask them to stop along the way.

Hint - 8 people in a limo will be crowded. And, most have a normal size trunk. Be ready for that.

Are you all on the same flight?

You will see other opinons if you scroll down through old posts. This comes up often.

I usually do $20 each way when doing a limo to/from airport.

I agree with this. We always do $20 each way. Only exceptions are if we ask the driver to make a stop and/or take a special route, then we may add to it. On the way home if we had a lucky trip, we'll do more (good karma).

That's for 2 of us, with a piece of luggage each. With 8, if the driver is handling everyone's luggage (most will do so), I might add a few bucks. If everyone pitches in $5, that's a $40 tip, and I think that's more than reasonable.

That said, I echo what nostress said, make sure the hotel knows you have a party of 8, as that can put space at a premium. I know nothing of GC's options, but they might be sure to send a stretch or even a pair of limos.

$40 or $50 for 8 people is reasonable.
