OK, so I never valet, usually because about half the time Im on a motorcycle and the others... well i just like being in control of my stuff. Anyway, I stayed at Vdara first time last month and it was sweet, valeted the new truck as they are valet only.

Well, next week Im coming back to Vdara with a buddy and we are riding out on 2 wheels. 420 miles each way, 100ยบ+ etc, we are tired when we get there. The plan is to pull up to Valet and get a hellhop to dump our jackets, helmets and saddlebags with - I learned last time that walking through casinos with saddlebags and full gear soaking wet in sweat really sucks! LOL.

From here, time to stash the bikes. They are both $30k paper plated BMWs so they arent junky looking. Our options.... self park at Aria/Bellagio and walk to Vdara. Try to get the valets to let us ride our bikes down into their valet area close to entrance and park them (doubtful). Or, throw some $$$ to get them to let us leave them up front with all the exotic cars lol. Brings me to my question I guess - anyone have any idea how much "tip" those guys are getting to leave a car up front? Seems like this would be the easiest.

Very interesting question. I've never thought about issues with a motorcycle in a valet only place. I'm just curious to see what others have to say.

As a fellow rider I'd be real hesitant about leaving a bike up by the valet stand. Too many people looking around up there. I'd also imagine the casinos don't want bikes parked out there, as Bellagio was recently robbed by a guy who parked his sport bike at the valet stand. I'm quite sure the valets will not ride your bike...and would you really want that anyway?

My advice would be to self park at either Aria or B. Perhaps call Vdara and ask where a motorcycle guest should park?
