My 33 year old niece and a group of her friends are in Vegas. They are staying at MGM Signature. I sent her a wad of cash before her trip to make sure
they had a good time. I had sent her all kinds of ideas for things to see and do on her trip. She emails me to say she's getting too old for this crap. Haha!

She said her feet hurt, her back hurts and she's hung over but she's having a blast! Oh and she bought some kind of hang over pills that do not work.

They ate a Steak Dinner at Caesars last night and she wrote to thank me for the money. I know they've done lots of clubbing and have been to Bellagio
because I recognized the carpet from her picts. I'm glad they are having fun! Suddenly I feel like a very young 57 year old Vegas Pro!

LOL... that is funny. There's much to be said for being a "savvy veteran" and at 57, I'm sure you've got many, many miles left on the odometer!

That IS funny. But not especially surprising.

I've taken all of my children to Las Vegas on their 21st birthdays and a number of times since, and I tell them all (at age 60), "I will stay up later, get up earlier, and gamble longer and harder than any of you."

I have yet to be proven wrong.

Youth. Definitely wasted on the young!

I know she and her posse have definitely had a good time! I've heard about lots of drinking and I've received plenty of emails around 3-4 AM Vegas time. We live on the east Coast!
I told them to do Fremont Street at night but just recv'd a text saying they were at Fremont now and wanted to go to the Strat THEN to the Vegas Sign on the way to the airport.
Oh and she wanted to know how early to get to the airport. I guess with all that drinking I'm now doing their thinking haha! This isn't her first trip but I need to teach her how to plan!
I guess when you have a group of people it must be hard to keep everyone in line. That would drive me crazy! Oh well I'm glad she's had fun. Now I can't wait to get there!!!
