They need a new CVS in front of Bally's.

The multiple CVS and Walgreens locations on the strip combined probably make more money than some of the casinos.

Yep - the business model is working. What's good for CVS and Walgreens is what raises the tide for us all.

On the bright side, with so many Walgreens and CVS stores on the strip its a hell of a lot cheaper to buy miscellaneous items and even water and energy drinks then in the casinos.

As much as we make fun of them, I do hit the walgreens/cvs closest to my hotel 3-5 times a trip to reload on supplies / room beers / snacks. I'd rather have too many of them than not enough

I also think this one is a good location too. A lot of casinos right by Bally's.

I don't mind there being so many, simply means no matter where I am staying I don't have too far to walk carrying all my shiite :wiggle:

Why not? You never know when you might want to add some shelves to your room.

And if the CVS has one of the mini medi offices with a nurse in the back, it will make a killing. (Not sure if NV law allows them but some states do.) Think about all the crap that happens to folks (adults and kids) in Vegas, in addition to painful hangovers, that aren't life threatening (so no need to go to a hospital) but where someone just feels like crap. Just walk to the back of the CVS, talk to a professional and get what you need.

You want to laugh but honestly a drugstore on every other corner is not that different than my own backyard. I wonder when someone will decide to do the same with mani-pedi shops. Someone mentioned in another thread that Vegas is turning into Florida and I can't discount the similarities to Orlando based on things they have in the works.

That's been coming along since May. Would rather see something else, but they do come in handy.

Hmmmm get what you need.... perhaps some medicinal cocaine. :wink2: Or maybe the Bill Cosby special ... two quaalud and a bottle of jack. :poke:

But seriously they are replacing a dumpy parking garage with a shinny new CVS so it's all good with me. No doubt the CVS will gross more than the "not so Grand Bazaar".

LOL. Actually . . . . On a serious note, I've gotten flu shots at a CVS in NY and when I lived in Maryland I went to one of the medi clinics when I really felt crappy on a weekend, just to make sure nothing was wrong. I know nurses can't prescribe medicine but if they can give flu shots there are probably other things they can do beyond the help the pharmacist might provide.
