I have a trip coming up, so I've been checking my account online every few days to see if a better offer pops up. So I know I had like $48.00 in express comps left and like $9.00 in point play. I fell victim to the Express Comp Audit months ago like most people, even though I dont agree with it I just took it on the chin.

Logged in right now and I only have $18.00 in express comps and $6.00 in point play left. After not stepping foot in one of their casinos for months. I just sent off a nasty email but I'm not sure what good it would do. Sure its only $30 somethin bucks, but they fact that they just robbed me of it pisses me off.

It looks to me like they adjusted what I had to reflect their current scales of $3.00 gets you $0.01 EC and $0.01 PP from the old $2.00 got you 2 and 1. Anyone else get robbed?

I was in Vegas in October. I knew of these issues so made sure that I left with an almost zero balance on both. A bird in the hand..... But then I'm not one of those who earns enough to keep any until the next trip. Even with comp rooms and some f&b I always have a balance due on the bill and take off everything I have. Since some ECs don't post for a few days I might have a few bucks but nothing to worry about.

I usually do the same thing but I cant always eat up my express comps. Everything I can usually piss them away on gets comped. But I like to store a few for up coming trips. And the point play I think has to be burned up in increments of $10.00. So if I had $79.85 in point play, on the old machines at Mirage I can only convert $70.00. I know Aria you can convert to the penny, plus I always play a little more after I convert. I'm going to start doing what you do, and burn them all up if I can this trip. It would be easier if you could do so in the gift shop like CET lets you.

It didn't happen to me. The express comps that were there after my march trip were still there in December and I added 400 more to it last week. Still on there today.

Hopefully it will continue not to happen to you, however they stagger these audits and myself and others I know have all had it happen to us but at different type periods. Earlier this spring they removed around $400 of EC's from my account claiming a mistake on their end that happened the previous year.

Super excited to give mlife properties $5,000 less in income this week than they would have received had they not started scumbagging people.

Time for them to feeeeel the BUUURNN:evillaugh

Lol, sure they couldn't care about anything less. Still it will pleasure me to no end to metaphorically "piss off my Cosmo Balcony" into the Bellagio fountains.

I'll probably end up getting dragged into Aria by Gaggles, but if I do I will be sure to teabag that statue in the pocket park on my way back to The Friendly Confines of Cosmo

I've gotten several offers in the mail that showed my express comps at about half what it should be, but when I log in it has always showed the full amount. I hope they don't take any away, but my host has never used any of them to comp me. Guess I need to eat at more expensive restaurants to use them up

I think every time someone decides not to stay they should e-mail the corporate office to let them know the business they lost.
After a few months someone will starting adding up the loss and possibly get the hint.

Doesn't matter how low the amount, they shouldn't even take $1 away from anyone's express comps due to their audits unless they would like to provide the paper trail to us and prove we owe the express comps to them. :) Instead they don't even send a email letting anyone know about it, they only admit to it if you track your comps and know they are missing.

Sorry for the rant, but I find these audits 4 months or more after the alleged errors just incredibly poor customer relations.

We stayed at Bellagio in July and spent (in gambling, room charges, dining, shopping) enough to go from zero points on Sapphire to just under 40k from Platinum, in 6 days. We were at the MLife desk numerous times during our stay and not once did anyone on duty offer a comp, or use the comps we had earned to lighten our bill on checkout (although most of our comp points were gone by the time we got home). I don't know how they figure the comps but I would think that we should have gotten something taken off our final bill, and we were actually at the MLife desk in the morning before we checked out. If anyone at the MLife Desk had said anything about being so close to Platinum we would have chased the comps and gotten the next level. Not that I advocate chasing comps but 40K would not have been too difficult to get.

Anyway, October rolls around and we are reset to entry-level Gold. Instead of being able to secure Platinum on our trip next week we are staying fully comped at CET hotels based on my $100 played on a Hangover machine in July, that I ultimately won $600 on from the initial $100 in.

I really love the Bellagio and will stay there again but not until I play out my offers from CET. Feel the burn, MLife.

Did you actually ask to have them take a look at your bill? Or were you at the MLife desk for other reasons?

During our stay we were at the desk for a variety of reasons including replacing a lost card. The morning of our check out we had the person on duty look at our account and she told us that we had made Gold during our stay and gave us new cards. She had our account open and didn't say anything about the comps we earned, either express or otherwise, and she never said anything about applying anything to our final bill. So yea, it was on me to ask for my comps but I stupidly assumed that MLife would be proactive. In the mean time, our comps are gone and our final bill did not show a discounted amount based on comps being applied. It's too late to complain now and that isn't the real reason for my post. It is just another way the MLife is messing with their players comps and it isn't a good thing for the players.

It's a bad deal but maybe just bad personnel? My buddy last week was a new player to the mlife card. He was staying in a room under my name so it was fully comped. I told him to go to mlife counter at mgm to see how many tier points he earned. They gave him a pearl card so you played way more than him. They told him they could cover his room and food but it was already covered by me. He is going back in January so i will see how they treat him when he gets a reservation.

My June trip earlier this year, I was down to almost nothing and played enough to regain Platinum by a healthy margin and I am getting $109 room rate offers at best from Bellagio.

Their comp algorithm has gotten all jacked up. They are losing their marbles as surely as they are losing their customers.

People on here were calling me a whiny little bitch when I first reported this news in an effort to warn others to avoid mlife or at a minimum adjust their expectations.

MGM will be the whiny little bitch when they can't make their debt payments and have to sell off their properties in 2015. I'm sure many of the shills here will continue to nurse at the teet of Jimmy Murren, just like the afterbirths in his "maternity" statue in the Aria pocket pool park.

I can't for the life of me figure out why people don't see thru what MGM and CET are doing in their semi-monopoly positions and vote with their dollars effectively telling these shitty operators to suck it bitches.:grrr:

BeeeJay, I wish I had been reading this board in June, I would have heeded your warning! And I wouldn't have called you a whiny little bitch either. I reserve that title for Tom Brady and anyone else who thinks they are entitled. I can't imagine what is going on with MLife. They have made a lot of people mad and from what I have read on other forums there are some high rollers that aren't feeling a lot of love towards MGM these days.

The upside to all of this is that in the end, I have the choice as to where I spend my money.
