    Staying in an O Penthouse.

Not sure if anyone has stayed in one of these before, but if so, do these things have stereos (with CD player and/or an AV plug so you connect an ipod)?

I've heard that there is surround sound with ceiling speakers in these things, but there isn't any mention of a stereo on the website or in any review I've come across.

You'd think they would, but those regular rooms they have (as well as many suites around town) just have the crappy clock radio you can dock an ipod to...which really doesn't do anybody any good.

    Thanks in advance.

I stayed in one of the top corner Strip View penthouses. The flat screen TV in the living room had a multi-purpose link to connect sound/video equipment into the TV's system. The bedroom and bath also had flat screens - they did not have the connectors.

Haven't been in an O Suite, but have stayed in the T Suite and both are fairly similar. In the master bedroom where the lounge area is, there is the area where the TV is located. Below the TV there is a/v equipment. I remembered there being a receiver, a DVD player, and I think a 5 disc CD changer at the time. There are in ceiling speakers located througout the entire suite and you can have music played through the penthouse from what's connected to that receiver.

I've been in all of their upper level suites and in prep for the changeover, THEhotel hasn't kept up with their tech at all. No dock or connector is furnished to connect anything Apple (or otherwise). Rooms are showing lots of wear.
