The Tribe.....The Sox.....The Ritz and a Casino named J.A.C.K (Semi-Live)

If you have read a "Non" Vegas trip report of mine you know that I am a die hard Cleveland Indians fan. Well I had to wait until Sunday afternoon to find out if they would win home field advantage for the ALDS and they did. Soooooo the race was on. Flight? $837.....ouch!!!!!!



Can't put a price on a good time right?!?!?! Soooooo next stop? Stubhub......6 tickets for two games. (taking my parents to both games) $1524.....ouch!!!!!



Ok.....noooooo problem....I can handle this. Next stop Booking.com......HOLY SHIT. Rooms in da hood are going for $350 a night and the Ritz (where I normally stay) $1,100 a night and had one room!



I picked up the Bat phone and got a hold of my host and FINALLY!!!! some good news.....my man David never lets me down.

Sooooooooo we are all set. My plane leaves Laredo at 8 AM with a pit stop at Dallas and then on to Hopkins international and then Uber to The Ritz and should be on the casino floor by 2 pm eastern time zone. Parents will not arrive until game day afternoon on Thursday. Cash on hand? $7.5 k.......David hooked me up and I will throw him an insane amount of action. Hopefully not an insane amount of money. J.A.C.K. has beat me like a red headed step child the last couple of years. It's my turn.

The to do list:

1.) Have an incredible trip with my parents and have memories that will last forever.
2.) See two Tribe playoff wins!!!!!!
3.) Eat ballpark nachos with extra jalapenos
4.) Eat a ballpark hot dog with ballpark mustard.
5.) Win money in the casino with Mom.....lot's and lot's of slots!
6.) Take 47 pics of all aspects of the trip including XXX chip porn!!!

Pretty simple to do list and man I can't wait. Blessed to be able to do these things and certainly don't take it for granted! 4 am will come awful quick!!! Hope I can sleep

Big Tribe fan here also. Use to have season tickets during their magical 90's through early 2000s runs. But then I got married and had kids. I still can't believe we didn't at least win one. I can understand not beating the Braves and their pitching. But we should have gotten one against the Marlins. That damn Craig Counsel!!!

Hope our pitching can hold up. Back in the middle of the season (when Salazar and Carrasco were healthy), we were pretty much a lock to meet the Cubs in the WS. Kluber is our only starter I trust now.

Also you might want to edit your post. Not sure what anyone can do with the confirmation #. But just in case.

yes indeed!!! Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Tribe.

 

My family had Tribe tickets from 1992 (old municipal stadium) until they didn't re-sign Jim Thome (2002) How they didn't win multiple rings during that span is mind boggling. I agree we aren't healthy, but man this team just feels like a team of destiny. We shall see soon enough.

 

Hahahahahahhaha.....yes!!!! Do me a favor......wear it Thursday and if they win.....wear it again Friday! TIA

Yeah the weather looks spec freaking tacular........I have to be honest I caught a break there and had already made all the reservations before realizing that I didn't check the forecast. Living in South Texas you forget that there is weather other than HOT or FREAKING HOT.
