Those of you who have been around since 2004-5 or so may recall the Family Group, the Scientas from Buffalo, NY. They sing and dance, with comedy and impressions for a great family show. I saw them the first time with my son at the Rio. They appeared the following year at the LV Hilton. The often arrive early and mingle with the audience prior to a great show. I thought about them a few months ago and Goodled the but no plans then to return to LV. I was surprised sunday to see them on the board at TIX4TONITE. They play wed-sunday at the D downtown. TIX prices are $33 and $37 I believe plus change for ticket, tax and service fee. |At the D, they are $50. I was going to pick up a ticket sunday but didn't make it before Tix closed. It's a great show; I hope they are still ther in Feb. Right now they are booked til July, and the D also has a dinner/show package available.

I think there was some health problems with one of the Scintas. One of the brothers was on Talktails a few months ago or so.

I saw them at the Rio years ago. They were really good. Glad to hear they are back.

Yes they give a very good show. I saw them many times at Rio, back when the LVA had 2 free tickets in their coupon book. This group has bounced around to different casinos a lot. I know they have also played at The Suncoast and The Sahara. I hope they do well.

Talktails is an online show on VegasVideoNetwork, an online network that has Vegas related shows. Talktails focuses on Vegas entertainment and it's hosted by Kelly Clinton-Holmes who interviews various entertainers.

I never heard of them...are they musicians? I am always looking for good inexpensive shows to see (that I haven't already seen).

They all sing and play several instruments except their sister who sings but I don't recall playing an instrumet. They do great impressions and interact well as families ofen do. I remember thinking the first time I saw them, "How can there be so much talent in one family?" Last time I saw them, Mama Scinta and Chrisy's daughter were in the audience. It was a great show both times and one you can bring the entire family too as well.

Thanks, I will try to see them. Sounds good even if the sister is absent.
