I was just on The Quad's website and they have a notice that The Quad will be closed for renovations Oct. 30, 2014 and they are not taking reservations after that date. I thought renovations were already going on.
Back in April, I booked four nights at The Quad for December 2014. I know in October 2014, the name of The Quad is being changed to The LINK.
Do you think they will still allow me to stay at THE LINK with my $30.00/night rate? Or, will they force me to move to another hotel. I have not yet heard anything from The Quad about the December reservation.
    Any thoughts?

Think that's just due to the name change over occurring at that time. Linq Rooms come online around that time. So most likely this is just so the Reservation system switches over.

Unless you have a "gaming history" with CET, that sounds like a good rate!

But yeah like others have said, it's a temporary closing that day to change as many labels as possible. When Harrah's St. Louis sold to Hollywood, they did the same thing for about a day. But the full casino reno took about 14 months. This makes me want to get a Quad chip on my upcoming trip...even though I have no plans to play a table game there. Lack of interest screwed up my chance in February.
