Hello there the one problem i have is that im from the uk, so i need to use a reward system that benefits me. Im currentlt with both but never used my TR account yet, I only really get offered cheaper rooms as im not a huge gambler but mlife seems easier to use dunno why. What i really ant to know is what do you really get offered from TR with your reward points?? thinking about going with them because i can use the marketplace so they dont expire! so yeah what do the reward points actually bring you?????cheers guys!

They're the same as Express Comps at MGM properties, although earned at a slightly lesser rate than Express Comps.

$3 coin-in on slots gets you $0.01 Express Comps. It takes $5 coin-in to get the penny in Rewards Credits.

Total Rewards kind of fills in that gap by giving you $0.01 in Rewards Credits for every $1 of hotel spend, whereas Mlife you get no Express Comps for hotel spend.

Make your decision based on where you want to stay.
Choosing a property based on getting a few more dollars in RCs for a few days in
Las Vegas is not worth it.

This is excellent advice. I went through a similar experience a few years ago and ultimately decided to make MGM casinos my home base mainly because I liked the properties better

Yah chooses where you want to stay.

TR will give you discounted rooms - almost always - even with no play ever on the card...granted the discount may be $5.

You can also get a better discount if 2 people staying in the room are both TR members and enter the info into the booking/reservation page.

"thinking about going with them because i can use the marketplace so they dont expire!"

Honestly I wouldn't even bother with this. Unless you are getting your room completely comped, at the end of your trip simply apply any points you earned to your room bill. Then you head back to the UK with 0 balance to keep active. I would do the same thing for MLife express comps as well.

Total Rewards will most likely give you more discounts. If you have someone else staying in the room, that is even a bigger discount even if both of you gamble very little.

The downside of this is in general these casinos are not as nice as MLife casinos. So if the end goal is to get a deal because it allows you to come more often, then I would suggest total rewards. If you want a more luxury experience and are willing to pay for it, I would suggest MLife(or even Cosmo/Wynn if that is what you prefer).

With MLife you do get more express comps vs Total Rewards and Reward Credits. This has more to do with Total Rewards giving you more discounts on the room up front than MLife. They are still comping you roughly the same, just in different ways.

Not if both people fall into the the same "tiny play" category.

I also sometimes find better discounts using codes from here:

Even from CET using your Total rewards #?

I never do on that site.

You probably play more than we do. Our ADT at CET properties is likely <$20/day each. Hell maybe $10/day. It's not very much at all. CET rarely gives us anything, and rightly so, tbh. If that's the case, then yeah, the smartervegas codes sometimes are better.
