    My Trip Report

    Several days ago I wrote a lengthy trip report for our latest stay. Then my computer bleeped and I lost the whole thing. Sat down again this morning, and again, started typing and lost it again. Done. So here it is, the shortened version, lol.

    * Flight sucked, delayed and diverted due to major storms in Chicago
    * Mirage was awesome for 2 nights once again
    * Stayed at Paris for 2 nights, still like Bally's way better
    * Hate moving hotels
    * Olives was perfect, again, patio, sunset, lights coming on and cocktails!
    * Loved Absinthe...loved (except the chairs)
    * Didn't get long hauled...yeah! First time in long time!
    * Couldn't win a thing at Paris
    * Did very well at Mirage
    * Never made it to the pool at Mirage (too cold, very sad)
    * Love Sully's!
    * Don't like bartop VP at Paris
    * Got an average of 4 hours sleep a night
    * Room and amenities much better at Mirage than Paris, even upgraded room
    * Played at Casino Royale and had a blast, go figure
    * Met some very interesting characters
    * Ran out of money, had to cash a check :nono:
    * Hubbie won at BJ at Mirage and Bally's, not at Paris (I'm seeing a theme here)
    * We didn't play craps! crap!
    * First time in 41 trips, we actually brought dinner from the crepe place at Paris to our room for dinner and was in bed by 9 pm on a Friday night. Yikes. Early mornings and long days made for one early night. :eek:
    * Red eye flight home sucked, won't do that EVER again - no hosts on duty to help with comps and check out.
    * HATE the new slots, if you don't hit a bonus, you can't play for long. Hit a winning symbol and win $1.80 playing max bet on a penny machine. Hit the bonus and win hundreds. Don't hit a bonus, lose everything and move on.
    * Deli at Mirage is awesome for dinner, not so much for breakfast
    * Drink service was great everywhere
    * Spending fun times with hubbie...priceless!

    Looking forward to planning next trip in the Spring.

    Even with the shortened version, it sounded like you had a great time.

    Show the computer who's the boss! Don't let it get away with deleting all your hard work again!:grrr:

    I always do mine in notepad or in Word - that way I save it every few minutes and then copy and paste. If you aren't keen on doing that, e-mail each 'chunk' to yourself and then copy and paste from e-mail to here. I'd love to read the full version.

    Hello Kelly .... I liked your concise report. I'm usually way too wordy.

    So, I guess we can assume that Paris is off your list for future trips ?

    Ran out of money, and cashed a check ? Tsk,Tsk, Tsk ....

    Must have lots of fun and activities, with only 4 hours of sleep per night (Yawn !!!)
    I would never be able to stay awake that long ... I'd be asleep at the VP machine.

    You're back home, and we're heading out right after the election.

    I wish I had the time to do another full report, but we got home Sunday and slept for four hours and then did a Home Depot run,Closed on a new investment house Monday morning and I am spending 12+ hour days there getting it ready for renters. UGH.

    Budha - have fun. And I agree, cashing a check sucks, but I left my ATM card at home on purpose, so we would really have to go thru a hassle getting money if we needed it. We did come home with alot though, so it ended up well.

    I forgot to add, that as part of my Paris offer, I received a $300 gift card for the shops at Planet Hollywood (Miracle mile?) and since our bags were already stuffed, we had a hard time (can you imagine) spending it all. We still have approx $70 on it. LOL

    We also trammed it over to ti the first afternoon and spent hours and hours there. Hubbie kicked butt at BJ there and I did awesome on slots, but the drink service was awful. Not a cocktail waitress to be found. I had to go to the only bar that was open and buy a drink! The horror!! The place was also dead! Weird. I prob won't go back there just for that reason.
