...that will apparently 'oversee a remodel of the casino floor' according to a LVRJ report. Good news IMO, I love The Mirage but I think the casino definitely needs a little spritzing up.

I actually think I would love the mirage if the casino were not so drab and some of the employees were not so rude. Nice property otherwise.

It would be great if he tossed out that nasty Kardashian store and stopped the Mirage from drooling over them and featuring them in their advertising, nightclub, Sugar Factory, etc. It really scuzzes up the joint. Can't stomach walking through there anymore and seeing those sleazes plastered everywhere. :evillaugh

Now, now Sam first Britney, now the Kardashian's? What next... are we gonna have to argue about the known fact that Justin Bieber is the most talented male solo act out there today? Ha!

I've always had a spot in my heart for The Mirage and too and look forward to it receiving a little TLC in the public areas.

Hmmm...i've always found the Mirage employees very nice. I wish they weren't closing Kokomo's though. Love that place.

Well, i can admit i was wrong when i am. A few months ago i predicted the Mirage was going to be sold. I believe now i was wrong. I was out there last month and was introduced to and had several drinks with the new President. We talked a lot about the new MLife program and yes, i told him how problematic i thought it was. He was a good guy, very receptive and willing to listen. He seemed to have heard some of the problems (at least at my level). Long story short, i was assured and believe the Mirage is no longer on the chopping block. Mainly b/c MGM has restructured much of its debt and frankly doens't have to stress right now. This in turn also means my assessment of the stock 2 years ago will be in error. If I'm wrong, so be it. As for the new President, he definitely was well liked by the staff and several difffernet hosts who came by during our time at a bar and think he will improve the place and has Jim's permission to spend $ to do so.
