Got my spring "offer" today. I'm genuinely insulted. Only discounted rates. Lowest was for $360 over the course of 3 days at the Monte Carlo.

Their friggin resort fees have gone up to $28 per day. Really? My Lord. I guess I never realized before because I've always had comp offers.

I'm sorry MLife that my measly $2k that I run through your machines over a weekend is not enough play to give me anything worth a shit. I'll make sure to go book with CET for my upcoming trip and give them that money instead.

12 years staying at their resorts....3 visits last year alone and all I get are "discounted" rates. :cuss:

Don't feel bad. I ran 3K in the Lion Share machine in 45 minutes just walking thru MGM a couple days ago. I also play $50-$150 a hand in Baccarat Craps or Blackjack everytime I play at their casinos. I also made Elite status in one two day trip to an Ameristar, which is supposed to link to MGM. To date I have yet to receive ONE mailer or online offer from MGM properties for a free or discounted room at ANY of their properties and I've been coming to Vegas for 17 years now.

I'm convinced that my player's card is in MLife limbo somewhere.

It takes 4-6 weeks before you see anything. I bet you'll get some offers in a month or so if you really dropped 3K in the slots.

17 years and countless trips and notta one. Never contacted by a host and didn't get anywhere when I tried contacting. I can't explain it except to think that I am "lost" in their system somehow.

The best part is that we stayed in a comped Encore suite this last trip. Only played Baccarat for maybe 30 minutes passing thru on last trip. I'm sure they were just putting out feelers to see what they would get but I still find it pretty ironic.

My offers are all over the board. One month it's suite/FP/FB/Limo/tickets to a show and the next it's 2 nights standard room only. MLife site is different than mailers and what I get in email is not related to either. I read their comments on the facebook site. I see many comments like yours. Their answer is to call VIP services where you want to stay and they will give you a better deal. The stuff from corporate is just not valid. Don't know why they even post it.

I called all of the VIP desks and the couldn't give me anything different. We don't play big enough for a host so I give up.

What were your offers typically on the Mlife site ?

What were the corporate emailers and snail mailers typically ?

Did you concentrate you play at one property or shotgun it across a number of MGM properties typically ?

I've been preaching the uselessness of Mlife for about 6 months now. Before that I was a big supporter.

Don't give the MGM casinos a second thought and ignore their many shills on this website. A lot of people own their stock and/or are new players still getting better teaser offers and will try to blame you for getting fucked by Mlife.

Most people without a good host relationship, or with play that fits better into the competitors programs are moving their play away from Mlife casinos.

Jpete might want to wait and see cause your table play is definitely in that sweet spot where MGM is better than CET.

I'll still play at Aria due to some of the gaming conditions and I like the atmosphere (plus they are only half MGM owned) but I'll only give them a small bit of my play (maybe 5%) going forward.

Comps are going down everywhere and not too many people are happy about it. YOu will hear a lot of support here on VMB like I said from the shills and stock owners.

My solution is to make less trips, and simply move some of my budget from gaming to hotel, leaving the overall trip budget the same.

No need for FUD here. Following your own logic, you sound like a shill/stock owner for a competitor ;) :poke:

This stuff ebbs and flows. One program sucks now, another makes changes that make it "the best" for a while. Then it starts to suck again. Then someone else makes a change and then their program is better. Some programs suck longer than others.

The spring offers are out, but apparently Mlife is having problems getting them to show on the M life site. :confused2: So unless you are one of the ones who they email the details of the offer, you will have to call.

I contacted mlife - after I had been on the website I had offers for Mandalay Bay when I phoned I was advised they were expired and they could offer me casino rate - response below

Please accept our apologies for the issues you are experiencing with the website. I definitely understand how frustrating this situation is when you are trying to make plans. Our Corporate Mlife teams have been aware of the issues with mlife.com and for the past several months they have been working on repairing these issues. We have scheduled a relaunch of our website on January 31st and I truly hope this will make for a better booking experience for you.

In the meantime, if you would like to send me your Mlife number and the dates you are interested in, I can see what offers you currently have available. Once again, I’m very sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced. Please let me know what additional questions you may have.

Thank you and have a wonderful evening!

the execs may be smoking crack, but the IT group is doing some really BAD stuff. They can not get anything to work right. I was at Beau Rivage last week. It took the poor counter person many minutes just to get my current point balance. She just sat there waiting and waiting.

What I find funny is that the Mirage can apparently figure out how to put offers on the web-site - so can the Aria - as I've had new offers on the web-site from both of them. But M Life can't figure out how to put their own bloody corporate offers out there.

When I asked when the Spring offers would be showing up on the web-site as I knew they were "out", they basically just said the web-site is undergoing some significant upgrades yada, yada, yada, they are truly sorry yada, yada, yada - but here is a list of numbers to call to find out what your corporate offers are at the property you are interested in.

This isn't the point of the thread, but I can't miss an opportunity to say, "M-Life's website is the biggest pile of garbage I've ever encountered". I work in IT day-to-day and I just don't understand how they keep their jobs. I would be in quite a lot of heat if the beta's of products I design and test had as many issues at the m-life site has.

Yeah, that kind of comment really bugs me. Ascribing motive just because you don't like what someone said.

And for the record I really haven't seen much out and out defense of mLife on here anyway. Seems everyone agrees their website is poop, and no one seems happy with the direction of the offers.

Yeah, I was a big supporter of Mlife before. Definitely ebbs and flows. I'm a big supporter of self-comping by reducing gambling bankroll significantly and spending the difference on those items which would have been comped or skipping Vegas trips entirely until the ebb and flow swings back.

I'm a pretty poor shill for the competitor since I don't support much of any of them from a comp standpoint.
