Has anyone ever booked one of the El Cortez's Designer Suites before?

I notice on their registration page that it doesn't give you a choice of which of those four rooms you'd prefer (which isn't a big deal), but was curious if the room type/theme isn't given until actual check-in.

    Gracias.

I've never booked one, but one time when I was staying there on one of their offers, they put me in one (it was summer mid-week and I checked in very early - I'm sure that's the ONLY way they'd ever put me in one of them). They put me in the "Hint Suite". Since I travel to LV solo the vast majority of the time, it was basically just a large, very nicely-decorated room. It did have a Jacuzzi, but that is not that big a deal for me. The biggest perk was probably that they brought me several bottles of water and a fruit basket.
