    Trips to Las Vegas:
    Hello All,

So next month, I am taking my Mom with me again to Viva (my other two yearly trips are solo) and have lined up shows, restaurants and other activities for us. But talking to her just now, I have learned she doesn't want to repeat the dining experiences she had before.

This trip, our original gastro-journey includes:
DW Bistro (fourth time for me, would be second for her)
Mon Ami Gabi (millionth time for me, would be third time for her)
Bouchon (first time for both of us)
Nora's (second time for me, would be first time for her)
Opus Too (second time for me, would be first time for her)
Rhythm Kitchen (first time for both of us)
Firefly (second time for both of us)
Pan Asian (first time for both of us)

So what places would you suggest that would be comparable alternatives to the following restaurants?

    DW Bistro
    Mon Ami Gabi

Location is not an issue, we will have a car.

    Thanks in advance!

Country Club at Wynn is a good alternative to Mon Ami Gabi / Bouchon type brunch places. More expensive but a nice brunch with a nice view.

DW Bistro is in a class by itself. Maybe check out Pura Vida? Or Honey Salt, not caribbean, but it might fit the bill.

Instead of Mon Ami Gabi, check out Marche Bacchus. If you prefer to stay on the strip, then I suggest Morels at Palazzo or Comme Ca at Cosmo.

For tapas, try Marbella, Forte or the newly opened Poppy Den. Poppy Den is billed as a Gastropub, but they serve small plates. Maybe consider Fat Choy it's newly on my radar.

Don't miss Pan Asian. It's really delicious. They take their heat seriously too.

An alternative to Mon Ami, maybe Payard's at CP or Le Provencal at Paris? Payard's is a french bistro without the emphasis on steak, although they occasionally have steak frittes. Le Provencal is French Mediterranean/Italian.
