I will be traveling to Vegas this April for the first time in about 6 years. Basically I have no playing history. I booked a room at The D downtown.I will be staying 4 days. I play BJ exclusively at 25-50 a hand and will be bringing about 2K to play with each day. I will be playing about 1k each day in the sportsbook, but I hear this doesnt count toward comps. What should I expect as far as comps. Should that play be enough for them to comp my room on the backend? Also my flight goes out at 6am Sunday so can I email my host when I get home to have them evaluate my play.

Thanks for any help, I am such a noob at this.

My 2 cents, see a host while you are still in the building, saturday night.

You lose all leverage if you are home.

    Bring earplugs.

For what it's worth, if you are looking to kick back and relax at the sports book at the D while you watch your wagers, it'll be a little uh "cramped". Probably a bit loud too, but hey you can wander over and play the Sigma if you're into that sorta of thing.

I am also leaving early in the morning. I have 3 nights comped. Can I talk to the slot club people the night before I leave to get my 4th night comped or do I have to talk to a host? I think you will like The D. Decent rooms and good drink service but it does get loud downstairs. Upstairs is much quieter.

I have to second the ear plug idea.
