    My Trip Report

Ill try to make this short and sweet while I have a few minutes. Arrived at mc carren at 10 am and had a limo from presidental waiting (first time we did this and it was worth every penny). Checked in at the d got a corner king 15 th floor room was nice nothing special but did the job. Overall hotel was ok housekeeping didn't clean our room one day and the elevators are painfully slow. We were stuck in one for 15 minutes Monday before it finally dropped us on the 34 th floor... Safe to say we didn't use it again. But all and all we would prolly give them another shot. Gambling was strictly craps did ok at the d crew was friendly, same at golden gate lost my a$$ at el Cortez and the crew was rude as hell. Food we at at joe vicaris andiamo highly recommend it. Sterling brunch Sunday great as always, redwood grill average at best service below average. Vic and Anthony's was fantastic as usual. The zip line construction is a real pia and I could really care less about it but lots of people enjoy it. Otherwise some observations downtown Las Vegas club what a joke that gift shop is laughable the casino was a ghost town it's sad.. Also I can't wait to see the downtown grand on my next trip maybe this fall we get married at Caesars next June so I'm sure there will be a trip inbetween. We stayed downtown mainly for our engagement pics with all the neon can't wait to see how they turned out. Finally it might just be me but there seemed to me more than ur average bums on Fremont this trip and they seemed a lot pushier than usual. The strip however is nice now that they have cracked down on all that and the flickers. Still love downtown and can't wait to be back.

Who was your waiter at Redwood? We go once a month (local) and have had only one bad time. The steaks and prime rib have always been top notch.
The prime rib at the Cal Cafe has been hit/miss as of late though.

Joe u nailed it... He seemed very disinterested with us like we were inconvienceing him by eating there. My fiances filet was ok but my prime rib had little to no flavor i will say the tomato basil with shrimp soup was excellent.

Yes Brian is a real ******bag. If you can, always get Hilario by far the best
waiter I have had in ANY restaurant. The other guy and the gal are ok as well
    but Brian sucks.

Srv, how was the plumbing at the D? I've read complaints about it.

We had no issues with the sink or shower both drained fine and water pressure was more than enough!

You know what? I was there tonight and had The Brian - and he sucked!

It was like he was the bus-driver waiter. He didn't even come by to ask me how my meal was and there were only 5 other parties eating at the time.

I'll avoid him from now on.
