    Hello all,
Thinking about staying at one of these properties for my upcoming trip. All 3 are roughly the same price (when I take into account the Resort Fees at Golden Gate). I need some help deciding which ones I should stay at. Here's what's most important to me:
    - Good WiFi
    - Generous potential future comps based on low(ish) play
    - Good cocktail service
    - Clean room

Any input is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I think your best comp play is the Four Queens. The wifi is ok. Cocktail service is generally great, very great if you play VP at one of the bars.

I have had issues with room cleanliness though.

you have to pay extra for wifi at the Cal (and maybe the 4 queens). I think the GG offers free wifi since you pay a resort fee.

IMHO the standard rooms at the GG are smaller than the rooms at the Cal or 4queens. Standard rooms at the GG are IMHO a little worn. Bathrooms are also smaller at the standard rooms at the GG. Cal west tower bathroom is "huge", containing the tub, toilet and vanity area. (Cal east tower and MSS bathrooms only contain the tub and toilet and the vanity area is outside).

All are good places to stay so it depends if you want to pay extra for wifi, smaller room/bathroom, etc. etc.

yeh. WIFI is $10 extra at Cal and 4Q, but GG will charge $20 for resort fee. West rooms at Cal, as mentioned. Boyds is easy to earn comps at, and card is good and can be used at all Boyds properties. 4Q is good for comps as is GG but usage will be that property only. Cal is block off FSE but easy access through back of Binions. 4Q and GG are right on Fremont. Depends if you want quieter or not. Cal (and MSS) have a mini fridge in every room, others don't. There is supposed to be free wifi on FSE, some say spotty. Also free at McDonalds. Boyds is having a sale now. Don't get stripped. Saw rooms from $30 (MSS, CAL, Fremont) and come with $10 food credit daily. There is also the shuttle (big bus) that goes to SamsTown at Fremont and Cal. From there it also goes to Harrahs on strip. Don't need to be guest to use.

Rooms at GG are VERY small. Noise is also an issue since it is close to a stage and Main Street and the rooms are close to the ground level. 4 Queens rooms are the next smallest, Cal's are the largest. I don't play at the 4 Queens because I am a BJ and craps player and there are much better games all over DT. GG is very generous with comps, however, all of their regular BJ games are 6 deck continuous shuffle, which I refuse to play. They only have double deck in their high limit room (generally $25). Craps at 4 Q is $5 min. and 5X odds. At GG, $5 min., 10X odds. There is a lot of DD BJ at Cal and MSS. Although Cal has only 2X odds on craps, MSS has 20X. Comps are gained at both properties since they're both Boyd. I've never understood why Cal is only 2X, while across tthe bridge, MSS is 20X.

I got bumped last summer and got a room at the CAL. I liked the room and it was quite clean and won some $ so I was happy. Would I stay at the CAL / MSS that would be a tossup but do like Boyd properties. Good luck

if your play is low I don't think you can count on future comps, certainly not boyd or gg. GG is an awesome place to hangout but unless you spring for the suite you're looking at a very tiny room. Haven't stayed at the queens but have the Cal. I liked it, has a fridge, nice clean room. Personally I play at boyd props for comps, then hangout at GG when my favorite bartender is working
