There's six hour to go before the race at this time. As of the betting right now, Orb is 2-1, way too short for me. At 2-1 he won't be in my exotic bets. In the big races, favorites are way over bet and therefore offer betting value with the other horses.

Picking winners is NOT the game I play. Betting profitable winners is the game I try to play.

After I watch a few races I'll make my guesses. Oxbow is sitting at 11-1 right now and may be my top pick again. He's getting no respect at all.

I'll post my bets a couple hours B/4 the race.

    Good luck to all!

My online betting site has Orb at 3-1.
Waiting for my wife to make her choices. Me, I just guess, so I have some action on the race.

EDIT: she just took Orb & Oxbow as separate winners and two exactas with each of them. Can't do a box on my site, so two bets on those.

Joe, I'm looking at the tote board at Belmont right now and Orb is now 2-1. In horse racing, favorites lose 70% of the time.

Just saying my bet is booked at 3-1 as long as he runs. Or, I should say my wife's bet. On my site, the track odds no longer matter once the bet is booked. The exacta bets are however, based on the track payouts.

I'm not a pony player, I just put something down to keep my interest when the race is going. In my case I took overanalyze at 12-1

    Win #7 Oxbow

    Exacta box 7 with 3.5.7.9.12.14

Maybe a few very small (10¢) superfectas

If I don't win, I hope you do!

I think Orb gets in the money today.

Ex box: Orb with Overanalyze, Oxbow , Revolutionary. Incognito, Vyjack, Golden Soul

I also played some numbers: ex box 7-11, 7-14, 5-8 and 2-3-5 tri box.

    Good luck to everyone.

    Nice work DonD!

I keyed #3 Overanalyze. Thought he offered some value. He ran mid-pack throughout.

Thanks, I had a really good day today. If Orb stays out of the tri. it would have been a super fantastic day.

For each $2 exacta bet it paid, $323.50 which I had a few times.

The $2 trifecta paid, $ 931.00, I needed Orb to be out of the tri and it would have paid really big. I didn't have the tri or superfecta because I refused to use Orb. Orb was way overrated in my opinion.

It was still a good day!
