Just wanted to say Hi, and thanks for all the useful information I've read here.

Visited LV about once a year for the last 20 years, sometimes for trade shows but in the last few years to play blackjack and get some R&R. Since casinos (first Stratosphere , now MGM properties) have invited me with free nights, I'm quite happy to accept. Probably get up to three visits a year if they keep making me great offers.

Still trying to figure out how comps work in the 21st century, how I should take advantage of my donations to the casinos over the years, what a host is for. And always looking for off-the-beaten path things to do - the pinball museum is next on my list. Red Rock is nice....

Welcome Bruin! Ys, you are correct, there is enough info here to make your head spin, but that's the great thing about it. Always someone here to help you out no matter what your questions or interest.

Thanks - hoping someone can shed light on the difference between a "Mirage Suite" and a "Mirage Tower Suite" now. Excellent descriptions of latter here...not really sure what the former is.

I have stayed in every suite at the Mirage with the exception of the Mirage Suite. Loved the Tower suite! According to the Mirage website the Mirage Suite is just one big room but does have 2 bathrooms. Try this link and see for yourself. Hope it helps.

Thanks. I've seen the site, noticed that they aren't reservable online when I check. Hoping that someone pops up and says, "Nope, they basically don't exist and you'll be put in a 1-bedroom Tower Suite."

More realistically, they're suites sprinkled throughout the hotel on various (low and high) floor with varying views, and they're there only for comps.

How'd you end up a bruins fan from Alberta? That's what people really want to know.

I'd love for it to be Boston, but am guessing UCLA.

    Damn, first guess winner. :nworthy:

No idea why. Just saw a couple of bowl games, liked SoCal as a kid, and decided they were a team I wanted to follow. Now I'm watching a baseball game in 90 minutes...with a lot of games in between. Rather bizarre, really....

    Thanks for asking.

(And being an Oilers fan, I'm never going to admit that Cam Neely was one of the best forwards to play the game.)

I can't say they don't exist but I can tell you the last time I had that offer I ended up in a Tower Suite. Hopefully you will too!

We have more pictures of Cam Neely in our house than we do of family. Can you guess our Bruins affiliation?
