Had a long weekend at the Golden Nugget planned, but Southwest Airlines had other ideas for me. Got caught up in their ongoing problems and never left. I called to cancel my hotel stay and mentioned that it was due to Southwest's problems. The reservation agent (Monique) was sympathetic and asked for the flight numbers. After providing them, I was put on hold for a couple of minutes. When she came back, it was to tell me that my deposit for the first night would be refunded, even though I'd missed the hotel's deadline to cancel. She said it wasn't my fault, and there's no way the hotel'd charge me. Thank you Golden Nugget.
