Yet another person from Texas. Originally from Louisiana, when I head home to visit family I sometimes sneak a trip to the boats but still nothing beats the atmosphere of Las Vegas. Been hitting up Vegas for about 7 years now. Started off as a lowly recent college grad cramming 5 or 6 people into a room at the Flamingo to now staying at the Cosmo in a terrace 1 bedroom. I'm usually good for at least 2 trips a year sometimes 3. Oh how things have changed.

Big craps and roulette player but I'm slowly getting more into blackjack and video poker. Though I enjoy the food and drink just as much as gambling. I love a good craft beer or a bourbon with a rare steak.

Welcome to the board! Not sure if you ever make it downtown on your Vegas trips, but a new brewery just opened up there: Banger Brewing.
I plan to check it out this weekend.

I've heard about it. I may have to check it out when I head to the neon boneyard.

    Welcome to the Forum..
I'm about 60 miles north of Corpus so I get to the coast quite often.
I'm a downtowner if there is such a word.
But I do enjoy it all and hope you have a wonderful visit.

If you're a downtowner I'm a stripper. But not THAT kind. Haha Downtown does have it's charm. I dig being able to walk from one casino to another in 30 seconds. Even as a "young man" it's a pain in the ass to walk from casino to casino. But right now the strip offers me more of what I'm looking for. When I'm in the mood I like a good dive. If I ever take a solo trip I see myself going downtown and going on a $5 craps bender for hours.
