We haven't explored much of Downtown and haven't made it across Las Vegas Blvd from FSE.

After seeing the website I want to go. http://www.fremonteast.com/

    Seems cool.

I enjoyed the bar called Commonwealth. They have a rooftop patio with a full bar. Drink prices were reasonable too.

Fremont Street East is worth seeing. I think the changes are impressive - all in a positive way. I like the way they have tables and places to sit in Container Park. You can sit and relax with a beer (or two+) and watch people or entertainment in the evenings. The vibe in the whole area is good.

I thought Container Park was pretty neat, at least to look at! (all the businesses are just random junk as you can't run much of a business out of a 8 x 8 box haha) The whole area still felt quite sketchy to me though... and it's a good long walk probably from the canopy over there. Definitely if you like bars it's for you!

The Park On Freemont is a neat little bar with a patio courtyard. I enjoyed it.

No, I didn't try the laundry room. I'm not much for making reservations.
