he puts on a good show, in a little lounge at ballys. probably seating for 150? does a right on 90 minute show, runs the gamut on songs, backed by a great 6 piece band, though he does not have a lot of room to move up there on that little stage. will segue from one song into another, and loved what he did with " in the ghetto" though will not ruin it for you with details. also did some jackson browne, delbert mcclinton, some originals and some of his harmonica work. tangueray and tonic and a 16 oz. aluminum can of miller lite was 16 bucks, to give you an idea on drink prices. DO NOT bother standing in line at tix 4 tonite. i noticed many of their original prices were ficticious, but i was in line, so went ahead and got the tickets for taylor hicks, 52 dollars total, so 26 each. price at the box office, in air conditioned ballys was 29.95. besides the ficticious starting prices that t4t was discounting from, the staff out front was just horribly misinformed, had to laugh when a customer asked about vinnie barbarino, and the equal opportunity employee could not find it on her ipad. she was able to find vinnie favorito when i told her what to look for, but was not happy with my comment about the customers knowing more than her. once toward the front of the line, turns out most of the other employees also have issues with her, and when she goes on break things go a lot better. thinking paying full price at the box office, whether on the phone or in person, and getting to choose seats is better than standing in the sun in line for some meager discount, especially if only buying one or two seats. gregrio is right again!
