My sister tells me the wait for a cab outside a hotel can be over an hour on a weekend night. What is it normally like in the mornings? If my halo doesn't fall off the first two days I may want to go to church on Sunday morning. How early do I need to get in line for a cab? I would probably go to a 10 or noon mass. I imagine it is a big check out time. Also I need to be at the airport on a Tuesday by 6:30 AM. What time should I be in line for a cab? Thanks in advance for the info.

I have been in some long lines for a taxi, but I don't think I've ever waited an hour. They move you through pretty quickly.

In the morning I wouldn't expect a wait more than a few minutes.

From the Mirage on a Tuesday morning, I'd think being in line for a cab at 6 would be fine, figure it's about 15 minutes to the airport.

What time would you leave Bill's for a cab to the airport for a 6:00 AM flight on a Thursday?

You might have a slight wait if its a big night like maybe a top ranked boxing match that just let out on a friday night or something like that but normally its not a concern and takes maybe 1 minute if that.

Keep in mind if its really crowded, just walk to the hotel next door and catch one there.

Cabs right before and right after big events can be busy.

Late morning checkout time can be a bit tough.

Early morning - instant service in our experience.

You could use the "tweet a cab" trick and have the cab waiting for you when you want. Get on Twitter and send a message to @hackingvegas or email that name at gmail dot com to see what he suggest.
