    $37 in good traffic up to $45 in heavier before tip.

    I paid $45 from both Planet Hollywood and Mandalay (the time from Mandalay the cabbie took the longer way so i raged at him and no tip)

    Damn, higher than I would have guessed. Glad we'll have a rental car. GVR is on the agenda this trip.

    GVR is definitely out there :) It's a different vibe casino from the strip for sure. Very chill. Very very local friendly.

    I've stayed there for 2 years straight as part of my annual Vegas trip. This year I'm going the rental car route because it is remote, because the cab fees and their free shuttle times are killer.

    If you are staying at Green Valley Ranch they offer a complimentary shuttle service for hotel guests that runs between GVR and Mandalay Bay.

    Thanks Bella and Auggie....yeah I knew about the shuttle..looks like I will taxi it to MB from the Rio and use it.
