Have stood on that very spot at least half a dozen times.

Been on that escalator numerous times and when I walked past the end of the tracks I sometimes wondered what would happen if a train came in too fast .

Reminds me a little of the ending in Silver Streak.

This is just peachy. I'm on my way to O'hare right now and was thinking about taking the blue line. It would be faster than a cab at that time. Friggin Midwesterners! :grrr:

OMG! I've taken that train from and to ORD ever since they extended the line out there! I've taken that escalator countless times!

Train wrecks are scary! They were saying on the news that the operator was dozing off, kinda like the wreck a while back in The Bronx.

I walked by it yesterday to see the damage but it was completely blocked off. Nothing but a couple of news anchors reporting in front of the entrance. Probably local ones.

Luckily no one was seriously hurt here. But it does give you the chills if the place is familiar to you. Glad I'm in a job where nothing happens when I doze of for a second. Otherwise, today would be a dangerous day!
