Our trip is getting closer, can't wait to get back to our favorite city!! This will be our 8th trip. We have stayed from the likes of the westward ho to Encore. This trip has us staying 5 nights at vdara. Just bought tickets for Michael Jackso's One Cirque Show, also using a premium companion reward from myvegas to see Terry Fator, and a day trip to the Grand Canyon.
Opinions of vdara? I know there is no casino there. Any luck with $20 trick?

Thanks for any info or reviews on the hotel and shows, Thanks!!

I just stayed at Aria in a corner suite, usually I get a city corner suite at vdara, honestly
    I prefer Vdara
cheaper and full kitchen and washer/dryer to get the smoke smell out of my clothes, before hopping on a plane

the slight walk to aria is nothing really

Spent a couple nights there in early April.
Like Frank said, the walk across the drive to Aria is easy.Or turn left out the front door and down the stairs and you are close to Cosmo entrance.

Walk out the back door and you are in the Spa tower of Bellagio.
We got upgraded to a Penthouse and the view of the fountains was great.
Did not use the kitchen or laundry facilities but can see they would be a benefit for light packers on longer trips.
I think you can use the pool at Aria which is nicer than the pool at VDara.

I stayed at Vdara last week for two days. I liked it. It was clean and quiet. Its nice to walk through the lobby and not smell from smoke. The deluxe suite has a kitchenette, couch area and bed. The bathroom is pretty sizable. I'm not sure what you are looking for to try the $20 trick. I also have stayed at Aria and think I prefer Vdara as well. I also like Vdara's location: easy walk to Aria or Bellagio. I don't think you will be disappointed there.

Have fun and good luck!
