Not sure how widespread the sale is, but I just re-booked August flights from Austin to Las Vegas and saved $60 each way. Might be worth a look....:peace:

I was able to rebook two roundtrips yesterday when prices dropped. Got $130.00 in flight credits and over 1,000 points returned into my account. Car rental dropped over $50 on Alamo, too. Nice!~

    Sigh.

My upcoming trip is too close for any discounts, and my November trip isn't open on SW yet.

    I feel so hollow.

    Delta

I booked Delta from North Carolina through Atlanta to Las Vegas for $277.00 round trip. I don't think I can beat that anywhere. Three hour layover on the way in with a Tuesday arrival at 7:30 P.M. Only bad part is my return flight is the 6:00 A.M. red eye the following Tuesday.

I couldn't believe the price drop for my June trip. Southwest was at an all time low, Denver to Vegas, $76 each way. Locked it in quick.

I just booked our October trip for the same price as our April trip, which was a pretty darned good deal. Thanks, SWA. Now I can sit back and relax for the next 5 months!

SEA-LAS went down to $92 a couple weeks ago, so I booked 3 trips. July, Sept, and Halloween. Not as low as the $68 I paid for this last trip in April, but not bad. Same price as Alaska Air, but save $20 for checked bag, which I figure brings the price down to $72.....

I prefer to fly Alaska, but I always figure in the checked bag fee these days, because I travel with so much sunscreen I have to check one.

Hey bedaniels what days during the week are you flying? We are going out Sept.27 and back on Sept 30. A Friday to Monday trip for $180 each way. I've been watching but didn't notice a price drop.

I currently have one way from Baltimore to Vegas nonstop booked for $98 on October 30th. I have never seen it cheaper than that and have only seen it at $98 one other time.

I cannot book the return leg yet since they have not opened up November dates (they are supposed to do so on May 6th)

When you rebook a cheaper flight do you get credit back on your credit card or do you get credit on a future Southwest flight?

I'm pretty sure that depends on the level of seat you book. The Wanna Get Away seats you get credit to use something in the next 12 months.
