As your Vegas Extravaganza gets closer, what do you do to survive those last few days? Do you hit up the local casino or totally stay away, trying to save money?

I'm struggling this trip MORE than ever. (probably because I've been planning this thing for a year) I'm close, but these last days are killing me.

Help me survive these last few days!

    Kay

The local casinos just don't come close to Las Vegas. At least not for me in Michigan. Knowing Las Vegas is so close makes the local places look even worse.

I save my money for Vegas.

Stay away from the local, brother! Stay away!
(You know, maybe I'll go tonight.)

Just daydream about seeing the Strip out of the airplane window, the three Welcome signs: the elevator in the airport, the Wynn billboard, and the original on the boulevard.

Visualize the taxi up the Strip, stopping at Flamingo Rd just in the right spot to see the fountain show. And the only people in front of you in the registration line are the hot girls in great shorts.

You'll be fine, man. Have a beer and watch Oceans Eleven. It's all good.

I'm usually browsing around on this website and other Vegas related websites a whole lot more than usual. I also watch movies like Vegas Vacation, 21, Honeymoon in Vegas, etc.

The last couple days leading up to the trip are the easiest for me. I always seem to be busy and have other stuff on my mind. Its the month or 2 before that kills me.
