A little background: go to Vegas 1-2 times/year. Get offers at Wynn for 3 nights during the week and $300 freeplay. Made platinum with MLife in 2 trips and just started getting 3 nights and $200 freeplay at a couple places but generally don't think I get great offers from Mlife.

Have played through $100 or $200 a couple times at Harrahs in AC (usually play only at the Borgata).

Get a booklet in the mail from CET today with an offer for up to 5 nights at any hotel in LV, $300 cash and $50 food credit. A better (or comparable) deal to the places where I actually devote 95% of my time and bankroll when I'm in LV!

No real point to the post (and don't mean to come across as boasting at all) but surprised that I got this offer with minimal play and puts my other offers in perspective.

    That's a great first offer!

    I'd jump ALL over that.

That's their hook. Don't expect them to continue that sort of deal if you don't give them the play. But grab this one before it expires.

What would be the average play to get these offers?

Did you get their magazine with this offer on the back or was this a small pamphlet? Many Platinum members have been getting the magazine with $100 food & $500 cash on it. However, it seems those of us who go a few times a year & they know they have hooked are only getting the standard offers. (I haen't even received my magazine yet).

I did get a magazine. I guess they see that I play for short spurts in AC and want to try and get me to try CET?

I do not think there is a specific amount that generates these offers. CET is pretty amazing in working their database in attempts to find the right "hook" to get folks into their casinos. They are always working the data to keep people coming in.

That's a great offer. I've been watching TR for some grand race promo this year. I got 60K in credits last year. Was hoping to double up this year.

omg I am so jealous!!! I havent gambled my past 3 vegas trips, only about 300$ total. So my vegas offers are, well non besides IP for two days to join a tourney. Ive dont plenty of play in AC over the winter though. I thought this would make up for my vegas trips but I guess not. I have AC offers in the mail every 2 weeks. But nothing for vegas.

And 300$ slot play, wow! :):)

You do know that you can often get free or reduced rooms, online WITHOUT an offer, right?

Gave PH some extra play this past trip to see if we would get some offers.
Based on the trip we have the following.
    Rewards Credit Balance: 443
    Tier Score: 390

I believe each point is per $5 so hopefully they see the amount and realize it was only for a short stay and e-mail some decide offers.

Log on the Total Rewards page--My TR Home--My Notifications--View Details--you should be able to figure it out from there.

BTW- you need a user name, and a number so the TR can see who you are.

Once you have created your log-in ID & password you just log in and basically type your dates into the reservation function. If you choose all LV hotels, it will bring up the screen with all of them showing you what the reduced or comped rates are at each hotel. Others use the calendar function on the left side but I like just typing my dates in & going from there. I virtually never use an offer as they normally don't sync with my travel dates. But I always have a free room.

Searched but couldn't find anything about how many points for a free room and nothing more than the usual discounted rooms.

There is no "number of points" needed for a free room. CET will often offer free or reduced rooms to get people back.

As an earlier poster indicated, log in and start a reservation to see what rates are available. Try looking at a MONTH at a time in case certain dates are hard to get.

Looked at the Calendar view to ensure I see all the days in a month.
Some days said "No Offer" but made sure to select 4 nights with offers and still only discounted offers.
In fact, it was $449 for 4 nights at PH in the Hollywood Hip room which to me is not discounted offer.

    So, you are saying that

    a) You are logged in with your TR number.

    b) You can see rates or options or comps for all Las Vegas hotels for an entire month

    c) Not a single casino or date shows reduced rates? Or comp rates?

If you clicked ANYWHERE about offers, then you are doing it wrong. There is a place that says ROOM DEALS. Do not touch that. You want the calendar for all casinos for a full month.

Is this what I am supposed to be seeing?
I see offers now but maybe since I was searching at PH there weren't any.
