What comps have you received for very little play directly from a hotel?

For very little play (like $2000 coin-in) my wife has gotten free rooms + dining credits at MSS and Sams Town.

3K coin in at TI has gotten me 3 offers of 3 nights comped $50 FP and $50 FB. Not sure of the coin in at Rio but it was micro, maybe $500 over 3 days. Both my girlfriend have gotten mailers for 2 nights comped.

That being said I am unsure if TR lumps all play together or not, I assume they do so they may have gotten me for 1K in 2013.

We used to only play about $700 for a 3-4 day trip between the 2 of us and we used to get 3 nights comped - free show tickets - freeplay etc.. all the time from MLife (more so when it was Players Club). I don't think we ever paid for a room until the last 2 years.

Now we bring upwards of $2-$3k for the same length of stay and all we get are "casino rates". Can't quite figure it out.

About $100 in at VP at the Downtown Grand got us 2 nights free, $10 in FP & $10 in food credits.

After we short play them this week, I don't expect another offer, but I'm a fan of double booking. Actually, starting tomorrow, we'll be quintuple booked.

4Q, MSS, GG, DTG and Suncoast. All free room offers and some FP & food offers included.

We play about 75% MLife, 25% CET. Maybe need to switch that up a bit and see what happens. Or, we need to start playing downtown!

We have the same level of play that you do now. We do the $2-$3K for a 3-4 day trip around 4 times a year and we get highest level rooms except suites comped whenever we want at any CET property, usually $300 in free play, offers with show tickets, tournaments and parties. We play both on the same card and just make Diamond each year.

To keep this to the thread's original question, the first time we really "gambled" was $100 over 3 days and we immediately got room comps from CET on the weekends, which was enough to keep us coming back.

I'm trying hard not to hijack this thread but...we don't go 4 times a year - usually once together and then we go each separately with a family member each year. I'm not sure that our CET cards are linked. Is that easy to do? Maybe that's the trick with them. Our MLIfe ones are. They used to be much more generous but not anymore!

Contemplating staying at PHo this time and playing mostly CET to see what happens but it's so hard to make the switch, I just really like the MGM properties (rooms).

I'm not sure if it matters to their ADT calculation how many times a year you go, if your bankroll is stable across them. I might suggest that you put all play on one person's card, regardless of who's on the trip. Linking two cards with lower play each does not get you nearly as much as having one card with all the play on it. My husband still has a card, and puts like $20 on it each trip just to keep it alive, but we do all our play on mine.

Two years ago, we spent one night at Orleans at casino rate. We played mostly 25c VP for about four hours and left the next morning. I started receiving invitations to their tournaments and free 3 nite offers. I used the offer last year.

Both Wynn and Venetian have comped us for very little play. However, that occurred 8-10 years ago and was not repeated by Wynn. We kept receiving free rooms for moderate play at V/P for a couple years until its emphasis shifted from low rollers to conventioneers.

I did the same $100 promo and got 2 free nights that I used last week. Did not play $1 at their casino and yesterday they sent me another offer for 2 free nights. Unfortunately I can't use it this time.

My parents had the same 2 comped rooms last week, but they gambled a bit. When I told them I received an offer they called to see if they did, but nothing for them...no idea how the comps work!

I don't think CET will link cards. I know our cards at MGM are linked but when we inquired about linking at CET they said they didn't do that so my wife just plays on my card. We will use her card only if we are not going to play much.

Do you guys and gals ever get comped during your stay i.e. during checkout they comp your room or are the comps always for the next trip?

In my past visits I've never cared much about comps or using a players type card, however this trip I'm going to use my newly acquired TR card non-stop.

They won't comp your stay automatically, it'll be based on your play. When you check out, speak with someone in VIP services. They'll review your play and see if they can reduce any of your expenses.

I play $0.25 VP most of the time I'm in Vegas. I don't get a lot of attention from any Strip hotels. I don't know how much I run through, but at 1.25 per hand, probably 400-500 hph (unless CoasterKikky is distracting me then it's like 200hph), 4-5 hours per day. Wait! I was told there would be no math!

I get some offers for free rooms from the lower end rooms at CET, sometimes Paris and Planet Hollywood are on those free offers or at least at a seriously low casino rate (like $29/night).

After two trips at TI, they've been pretty regular with discounted rooms and free play, but no free room offers from them.

Main Street Station and Orleans have always been best for me with free rooms, and food freebies or free play, 3x points offers, etc.

A year after my last trip, MSS is drowning me in free room offers right now, but I've made the decision I can't stay in hotels without room service anymore and I know MSS doesn't offer it. I don't recall it at Orleans or see it anywhere on their website.

Question: How do you put 2 people's play on one card? Have you at some point just told the TR people you lost a card and have them issue a new one so you now have 2 or ?? If 2 cards are inserted at the same time, does the system track both cards? My wife and I both have TR cards but we would get much more mileage out of having both play on one account. Just wondering logistically how this is done...
