I'm normally a $2-$5 DDB player, but lately I've taken a liking to playing SUPER DDB at my local, same limits... it's better because it's super.

I checked vpfree2 and it didn't look like it was offered many places.... I guess this is mainly to Tringlomane who seems to know the location of every VP machine in Vegas but.... is Super DDB offered anywhere on the strip at $1-$5? Preferrably a bartop, preferrably at Aria lol..... don't care about paytables I'm in it for the glory.

    SDDB Bartop and Aria? Ack!

This game is very hard to find. It's mostly on very old units, plus some brand new game kings that have 20+ games available. I'm definitely familiar with the game though because the worst version this game offers is 6/5 (97.69%), which unfortunately also makes it a bad bartop game to offer from a strip casino's perspective. My local also offers the game on the floor at 8/5 (99.69%). Apparently Fremont downtown does too for as high as dollars. Definitely not a bartop though.

Also Super DDB is sometimes a choice in "Spin Poker" machines. Also sometimes these "Spin Poker" games are on multigame units (like all star poker), which sometimes can be found on bartops. I'm not sure Aria had these types of bartops though. I didn't get as good of a look as I hoped. I do know they had it at Harrahs though on the floor in February in a spin poker format.

Obviously pennies wouldn't be your speed, but I thought the game was available for as high as quarters at least. And Spin Poker has 9 lines for a max bet, and 20 for "Spin Poker Deluxe". But as you can see in the pic, not all lines are necessary to max bet. I also know that the Quad and Harrah's has spin poker on "All Star Poker II" machines at their bars for quarter minimums. And I remember the best game they had was 6/5 Super Aces (97.78%), but they might have had 6/5 Super DDB (97.69%) as well, but I don't remember for sure unfortunately. Aria possibly would have these multi-game units at bars as well, but I have never noticed them. The other multi-game that I have seen the game on a reasonable amount of the time is on 50/100 play machines (you don't have to play all the lines to max bet), but I don't think I have noticed them on a 50/100 play machine in Vegas yet.

Wish I could be of more help. Ironically this might be the variant I have had the best overall luck in of all games for the small amount I've played on it. I took a quarter 7/5 Super DDB bartop (98.61%+prog.) for about $320 in less than 200 hands last year. Unfortunately that bartop was in Tunica, not in Vegas.

Thanks for some information on SDDB in Vegas. It is the game I play the most locally here in Minnesota at the biggest casino, yet it seems surprisingly rare in Vegas.

You're welcome! If anyone stumbles across it elsewhere (especially on the Strip), I would like to know!

Tringlomane, thank you for the info. I do prefer bartops because I also prefer bars, so I'll take a lap around the Aria when I get there and see what they offer - thank you for the spin poker suggestion too, I haven't played it yet but may have to give it a shot in order to get my SDDB fix.
