Thinking of going to LV for SB for the first time. Looks like I can attend various parties with AYCE and AYCD packages. Can some of the SB veterans guide me to a couple of the more lively parties? I may be solo on this trip, but I make fast friends.

    Thanks

You probably won't see packages available until after New Years. Last year I did Double Barrel Saloon at Monte Carlo. Had to buy tickets prior, for a high top table with the GF. Was about $100 each minimum spend which was consumed mostly with our premium open bar. Pretty sure they sold barstools too so you could probably get a single that way. $100 to $150 was about par for the course at most sports bars and restaurants. Check out the Facebook group VegasBigGame and go back to old posts from this past Super Bowl.

Marquee at Cosmo had a party but no idea how good/bad it was.

This is the email I got from Justin Crews at Marquee
Lavo was about the same. Standing room unless you get a table which is probably $200 to $300 a person to start. And likely 4 person min: http://lavolv.com/event.cfm?id=137361&cart

Thanks for the run down. I have two uncles in LV, I can try to talk them into going, but they don't party much.....Sounds like I need to round up some knuckleheads to go with.

I went to Lavo last year $155.00 included open bar/buffet standing room only but I hung out by the bar met some guys from San Francisco and we kind of held each others spots. The price was kind of high for me since I don't drink due to Diabetes but I had fun and the food was really good.

That sounds like a great deal. I can drink $150 worth of booze in 3 hrs no problem. My only gripe is a place to sit.

Could you actually watch and enjoy the game? Or was it more like a club that happened to have the game on?

There were TV all over the place and the sound was very clear considering all of the people. I pretty much camped out at the bar. The real zoo was after the game I walked back over to the Mirage to cash my Patriots bet and the line was quite long.

If you are willing to hold out a bit a lot of people sell off extra tickets that they get to some of the super bowl parties the casino's offer. These are all open bar and buffett. Plaza has one that is $100 for about 4 hours open bar and stadium food.

That's another plane ticket, nicer more expensive room, another ticket to the party, ect.
Hopefully my boys can make it then I can get her to stay home.
