I'm only in one Super Bowl pool --
    I've never won.
    My partner + I were wondering -
"how much do you tip, if you win ?"
10 % .......was our first thought.
    ........what's your thinking ?

If I win a quarter, i do not tip at all. If I win the final score (which is usually the largest payout) I will tip the buy-in to the organizer. So if the pool was $10 / square, I will tip $10.

Are you talking about a pool at a casino or like an office pool?

If it's a 100% payback pool, then 10% is good. If they take out $ or give themselves free squares, then I give zero tip.

Our 100 square pools are usually from a bar, so I tip nothing. They run the pool which in turn draws in the customers. Win/win.

Till this day I have NEVeR heard of anyone thinking about/talking about tipping on a SB pool.

I guess if it was a bar pool and I liked the bartender who is doing the heavy lifting I would likely give a bonus tip to that person if I
    hit the big one.

    LOL tipping..

I work in a factory that is a mile and a half from end to end. It's not easy for the seller to go all over the place collecting for the 100 square board. Therefore I think a tip is necessary. If it's a small office pool, maybe not.

Yes, it's a buddy running it --- he throws a happy hour free party
    when the numbers get picked.

On most office pools I've been in, the operator takes a vig off the top of your win, usually 10%
